Today's local papers reported that LYA sneaked real quietly into Sing to film a Korean commercial. LOL.
She's been here since the CNY! hahahaha ....
Now that the cat's out of the bag, I expect her to run as soon as possible once filming is done, which is today or tomorrow.

Thanks for the breaking news! ;D
I think LYA's visit to Singapore warrants a thread on its own!
Yunyun: "Water Margin" is on ITV 4 Saturdays 6pm --- in case you don't know.

A thread of its own? I don't think so. What there should be is a pinned "Cast Sightings" thread.

Thanks O.G. I just came online and saw ukfan's post - actually wanted to inform him about Raya Haji too. Anyhow, hope you are having a good celebration in S'pore for CNY. Gong Xi Fa Cai - na tau hen tuo hong bao ma?? Ooh...that's exciting news about LYA being in S'pore - probably doing the LG advert, you think? Yun Yun - yes, ang pow is lai si. Another way to call it is hong bao. Literally translated as red packet. Hm.. maybe your relatives might send you some all the way from Hong Kong. Ukfan - thanks for your greetings too. Quite a unique way of saying "Happy New Year". Anyhow, isn't it nice that you can still practice your Malay with friends from this part of the world? I do hope someone who understands korean will pick up your "plea" and help translate YMK's message. I too would like to know what it says. Persephone - greetings to you too and hope you are having a good CNY celebration too.

Wasn't Madam Han's message translated on the thread "Help!Translation Please" ? Hi ginnycat5 - what's cooking? ;D Yes, you are right. I had the messsage posted on this thread initially but it didn't get much response hence I started a new thread, "Help! Translation please". Well spotted! ;D Hi Yunyun: YMK's New Year's message is now available in English - go to the "Help! Translation please" thread -It is a very comforting and caring message, hope you agree! Hi Kwoonie, how is life treating you? Life in the fast lane must be very exciting for you. I, on the other hand gave up that life style years ago and have gone for self-employment and I have not looked back - my only goal is to make enough dosh to pay my bills that's it. Oh yes, and watch K-dramas. About my greetings in Bahasa Malaysia; I was actually refering to Hari Raya Cina not Haji ( I assume you are Chinese and not Malay - but if you are a Malay then obviously Hari Raya Haji - belated, sorry). Anyway, I do missed sunny Malaysia especially during the winter months but one thing that couldn't be more true, "Happiness is not where you live but what you make of your life" - a quote from a bitter and grumpy old man. An Englishman, 18th Century. TT for now uk fan

Yes, YMK's message was translated. Just saw that after posting in here.
Ukfan - Fast lane? Nah, not really. Tons of work - yes. I'm Chinese but any way the greetings come, it's still welcome. It's so hot here especially during CNY.
Back to the grindstone. ;D

Hi ukfan, I do love your Avatar ukfan. ;D ;D I did see the English translation of Yang Mi Kyeong's message. It certainly warmed my heart. Yang Mi Kyeong's messages are so poetic, and always from the heart. Thank you meowmeow for the translation! ;D ;D Thank you for the info about Water Margin, I did watch some of it. I was surprised when they all spoke English. My mother watched the Cantonese version (a long time ago- before I was born) ;D ;D Hi kwoonie, I hope it's not too hot where you are (it's freezing cold here). Please excuse my ignorance......but what does LG mean (as in Lee Young Ae's LG advert)? I really like this Mongolian song. I first heard it last summer. It also appeared in CCTV's Chinese New Year show. It has a very pleasant melody: www.chinacqsb.com/hzsys/UpLoadFiles/fashion/music/0323/2005032403372713047.mp3I hope you enjoy it! Bye for now, Love, Yunyun

LG stands for Lucky Goldstar Electronics.
It's a Korean company dealing in electronics, information and communications products. One of the big players.

And maybe washers and dryers? And refrigerators? I saw a show about how they market to villages in India, with smallish trucks that serve as showrooms that they drive from village to village (or town to town maybe)
