Hi ukfan, Congratulations ukfan, I see you've been promoted to 'Junior Addict'! ;D When will I become one? I also hoping Yang Mi-Kyeong will write us all a little Christmas message. It would be nice if she did. Hopefully by next year my Korean would have improved so I will be able to write something interesting in my Christmas message! ;D ;D ¸Þ¸® Å©¸®½º¸¶½º!Love, Yunyun

Hi Yunyun Thanks...I didn't even realise that until you pointed it out to me. Wow! a "junior addict" at last!...but fear not, you will soon catch up...just keep on posting. Keep on practising your Korean too...I hope YMK's webmaster has translated my message by now...and a message from her to all her fans would be great but you will never know. Has mum "caught" a turkey or two yet? ;D Merry Chritmas to you and you family and friends! Till next time uk fan

Hi ukfan, We're having orange glaze gammon joint for Christmas this year, so no turkeys have been caught ;D My Christmas card to Yang Mi-Kyung should have arrived by now! ;D Merry Christmas to you too! Love, Yunyun

Hi Yunyun I feel very very jealous right now! Glaze gammon joint for Christmas! That reminds me to get down to Sainsbury this evening to get something - what I don't know yet otherwise I will be eating beans on toasts on Christmas day! Your card must have reached YMK by now, but I am worried about my message to her though. For instance will it be accurately translated or will she get a chance to read it, and worst still, what if she thinks it is alot of rubbish from a mad man from England? (There might be an element of truth you know!) Anyway, where is my can opener in case I need it this Christmas day? Haha! Till next time uk fan

Hi ukfan, No need to get jealous. I may be having glazed gammon joint for Christmas, but my mother is a terrible cook! ;D ;D I'm only joking, but really, usually she just throws everything (not only rice but mushrooms, egg, vegetables) into the rice cooker and that's it. I'm sure Yang Mi-Kyeong will enjoy reading your message. YMK is very warm and sincere and not the type of person who thinks badly of anyone, especially not such a dedicated ukfan! Anyway, most of her fans are from China so I'm sure she'll like to have a message from a fan in England. ;D ;D Bye for now Love, Yunyun

Well, after my "beans on toasts" tonight, I guess I can cook a bit. Well, I heated the beans in the microwave oven and I made some toasts and then ever so carefully spooned the freshly cooked, sorry reheated beans (has to be piping hot!) onto again freshly prepared toasts (brown bread of course!) Now that is 5 stars cookery! Na...just being silly! Just feed me glazed Gammon everyday and I wouldn't make a sound to complain! ;D Seiously, you have a valid point about the fact that because there are so few British fans perhaps we stand a better chance of having our cards and messages read (by YMK) ...yea! there is a God! Till next time

Hi ukfan, I just sent Yang Mi-Kyung a Christmas card. I cross-stitched it, because YMK also loves to cross-stitch. I hope she likes it, and I hope it will arrive in time! I literally ran to the Post Office this evening, only to find they had closed But I still posted the card, so at least it will get collected tomorrow morning. I'm not impressed with your Korean because it should be spelt anny eonghigaseyo and ch eon maneyo. ;D ;D ;D haha, where do you cut and paste from? Well, bye for now. Thank you ukfan for the info about sending Christmas messages to YMK! Yunyun is very grateful! ;D ;D Love, Yunyun Hi Yunyun I'm the one of Yang Mi Kyeong's fan in Thailand. I love her so much and I want to send her a new year card. But I don't know her email address. Can you tell me, please? My email address is chanidacha@yahoo.com and I hope you will reply me. Thank You chacha (thai ymkfan)

Hi ukfan, I may be still eating gammon joint for several days after Christmas because my mother bought this really huge 1.5kg orange glaze gammon joint from Tesco. I can't imagine the Gung Nus making beans on toast for the Emperor! Wouldn't that be funny? "Emperor, this dish has been prepared with brown bread which is very beneficial to your health..." ;D I'm going to do a bit of Christmas shopping with my best friend tomorrow, as well as having hot chocolate with marshmallows. Should be fun ;D ;D I had better go now, as it's already past 11:30pm. Merry Christmas everyone! Love, Yunyun

Till next time ukfan, do you ever jazz up your baked beans? If you want different flavor, you can add things like ginger, garlic, cinnamon, and/or cloves, or curry powder, from the spice rack, or sauted onions and garlic or all of the above. (I've even put in fried zucchini and hamburger.) (My baked beans are in a brown sauce rather than tomato sauce, tho, so the additions maybe would taste different in England, my beans are New England style.) (The dried spices are quickest.)

This picture was taken just after our company's Christmas lunch Ooh! I know I should have just 1 turkey but I can't help it! It's so tasty and when you have bamboo shoots as a side dish...wow, it was heaven. ;D PS. I know I should have had Glazed Ham, cauliflower and new potatoes or my favourite Beans on Toasts (with diced smoked ham) instead but it was my company's Christmas lunch. uk fan
