Hello everyone! I've missed all of you! ;D ;D I came back from China last week. It was a great trip. In Beijing I saw Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, the Ming Tombs, the Great Wall, and Summer Palace. In Xian I went to see the Terracotta Warriors and Qing Hua Hot Springs. After that I had a 4 night cruise on the Yangtze River and had a trip on a sampan, and in Shanghai I saw the Jade Budda Temple, Old Town and Yu Yuan, The Bund, Nanjing Road and saw an acrobatic show on the last night. I'm sure you are all very jealous and demanding to know about the BBC showing Dae Jang Geum campaign. Well.....nothing has happened. I've had no more replies from Wayne Dunsford, unfortunately. Sorry folks But don't worry! I'll keep trying. ;D Hi ukfan! I saw about your message about sending Christmas messages to Yang Mi Kyeong. Do you send messages through the website or is there a special email address to send messages to? I'd better hurry with my email, it's the 13th already. Too late to send a Christmas card by post I'd better go now, take care everyone. Love, Yunyun

Welcome back Yunyun..yes, we are all jealous! we all want a full report...when you have few minutes! ;D
About Christmas messages for YMK, all details are on her site. The notice is on her home page. You can send her VOD, voice mail, email in English and the webmaster is even prepared to translate it for you (how kind!) Oh yes, there is a postal address as well...perhaps a Christmas card etc???
Keep knocking at BBC's door, you just do not know what might happen?
Till next time

Hi ukfan! In Shanghai I went on the mag-lev train (magnetic levitation). It goes really fast- up to 430km an hour! I also saw a view of Shanghai by night from the top of the 88 floor building 'Jin Mao' I think it's called. The lift goes up 9 metres per second(!) So it took less than a minute to go up 88 floors. On the top there was a glass dome looking down onto the ground floor....it was a long way down! In the Forbidden City in Beijing, there was a Korean tour group and, it being the first time I met real life Koreans, I stood next to them to hear what they were saying, and my mother told me off and said...."I take you all the way here to China and all you're interested in is Korean tourists!" ;D I have to say one of my favourite parts of China was seeing the pandas in Chongxing zoo. They were so funny and cute! One panda even posed for a photo...but they were not so much black and white, more like black and yellowish cream. I'm confused about Yang Mi-Kyeong's site, where does it say on the site about Christmas messages? Because I looked everywhere on the site, and I can't find the notice anywhere...please help me! Bye for now Love Yunyun

Yunyun- don't panic
Right..there is a pop-up window as soon as you access YMK site. The reason why you can't see it is because you have the Pop-Up blocker ON. Turn this off: In MS Explorer, go to "Tools" and select "Pop-Up Blocker, and turn off pop-up blocker.
If you have other tool bars like Google or Yahoo, turn off the Pop-Up Blocker as well.
More later.

Hey Yunyun
OMG...you've finally managed to meet some living, talking and moving Koreans in China, well miracles do happen - haha! Glad to know that you have enjoyed yourself.
As for getting up to tall building like the ones you have been to, well that's not for me: height doesn't agree with me! But pandas hey they are my kind of pets I would like to have.
Anyway, I hope you have sorted out your pop-up bloker(s)!
Till next time

Hi ukfan, I just sent Yang Mi-Kyung a Christmas card. I cross-stitched it, because YMK also loves to cross-stitch. I hope she likes it, and I hope it will arrive in time! I literally ran to the Post Office this evening, only to find they had closed But I still posted the card, so at least it will get collected tomorrow morning. I'm not impressed with your Korean because it should be spelt anny eonghigaseyo and ch eon maneyo. ;D ;D ;D haha, where do you cut and paste from? Well, bye for now. Thank you ukfan for the info about sending Christmas messages to YMK! Yunyun is very grateful! ;D ;D Love, Yunyun

jwe-song-hahm nida (I'm sorry) YunYun...It seems my "copy & paste" effort simply wasn't up to scratch! I stand corrected... jwe-song-hahm nida! And for your information, I got the translation from a site called, "Hear Korean Survival Phrases" and obviously I can't survive at this rate! ;D ;D Anyway, I'm glad you managed to send a Christmas Card to YMK - she deserves it and your special touch will undoubtedly be greatly appreciated....well done! I, on the other hand, sent her a written message of support and well wishes and I hope it gets translated and reached her in time. It seems that YMK has done it again, the character she played in DJG has captured the hearts of millions of viewers in the Phillipines. As far as I am concerned, she is simply the best! Till next time uk fan

Hi ukfan, I had fun cross-stitching the card for Yang Mi Kyeong. It was difficult though, writing those Korean characters, and my writing was all wonky. I'm glad you wrote her a message as well. Now she knows she has fans in England too! Love, Yunyun

Cross-stitching and writing Korean? I will be the first to admit, I can't do either of them! Anyway, Yang Mi-Kyeong would be over the moon with the efforts you have put in . Yes, in my message to her I did let her know that she has hundreds if not thousands of fans in UK - I hope I am right! Personally, the number would be about right bearing in mind there are some 250,000 Chinese in UK. Till next time uk fan

Hi ukfan, I found a great detailed review of Dae Jang Geum on the internet: www.spcnet.tv/reviews/review.php?rID=906It's long but it's a good read. I think Yang Mi-Kyeong will be glad to receive all her Christmas messages. But the poor webmaster, he must have a lot of translating to do! I hope Yang Mi-Kyeong will get my card in time. I didn't know until today that the last posting date for airmail to South Korea was 9th December....whoops It was worth the effort cross-stitching a card knowing that it will make Yang Mi-Kyeong happy. On the news today it said it has been the hottest year on record. But not anymore! I nearly froze when I went out this evening to post my Christmas cards! Chuweoyo! (It's cold!) I had better go now, as it's quite late. Bye for now! Love, Yunyun

Hi there Yunyun!
Thanks for the article..I actually read the whole thing and I must say the reviewer did an excellent job. The article was very objective and it just shows the high calibre of DJG as a drama.
Yang Mi-Kyeong is very fortunate to have a fan like you! I will keep my fingers crossed and hope that she will somehow send all of us a message too - it is not too much to ask really.
Talking about the weather, Korea is experiencing a bit of the Siberian winter! Now, that's cold.
Till netx time
