I think there is a lot to DJG than meets the eye. For my standards, DJG is the first ever perfect consciousness-waker and raiser social-drama I have ever seen on the screen. It confronts the human-nature through its cultural-wrappings and I believe this is why millions of people opened their hearts and minds to it. Especially the phenomenal performance of Lady Han who has put a little, and maybe more of her real-life self into the making of the character she has wonderfully brought to life is beyond description. Korean social-consciousness is into big time awakening.
