More on Triptaka than changed to Warrior now to Soldier Its 50 episodes and covers the life of Kim Joon from beggar in the streets to his rise to power ,looks like we wont see any rebellion against the Mongol's .
Time Slip Dr Jin Is another new Sageuk ,its a remake of the Japanese Drama Jin and it will suck why ?,because Japan in the 1860's had a lot more going on than Joseon ,i do not know how they can translate this story because its so rooted in major events and characters in Japanese History like Sakamoto Ryoma ,Shinsengumi and the fall of the Shogunate .This one will not work in fact neither of them sound that great .

Is that a change to the English title? Because Korean title is still The Warrior(Mushin). The site I go to is very reliable when it comes to drama info. As for Dr. Jin, they'll probably go back to Huh Joon's time or something lol

yes its just the English Title that has been changed . On a positive note actually this will be more like a continuation of AOW i was really hoping it would get into the uprising against the Mongol's but seems we will have to wait for that one .
Sadly Dr Jin is set in the 1860's as it is the original Jin was borrowed from BBC's Life On Mars swapping out Cop for Doctor and 1970's for 1860's .

Jung Bo Seok(known for roles of Lee Kaigu in DJY, Emperor Gongmin in Shindon, SBS Giant, Way of Merchant) has been casted for the role of Choi Woo, the son of the first Choi dictator Choi Choong Hun, in The Warrior or Soldier whichever name you prefer.

I'm a little disappointed Sambyeolcho rebellion isn't being made, but I guss I can live with this.. Kim Injun....its a slave who rises to the top story, right? On the bright side that part is accurate so its nothing really cheapening. On the other side, we've seen this story so many times already. But hey, even typical stories can be compelling if you do them right.

I saw screen shots for the final episode the one bit i cannot accept is the missus asking G Baek to kill her and the little nippers and the troops are so moved by her sacrifice ....yeah right ,The film Once Upon/Battlefield is probably more accurate wife calls G Baek a fanatic and he murders his family to inspire his troops .
BTW did we get to see the Baekje Jumpers ?.

No jumpers... . . . . . . . . .
Except for Eungo (at least it was implied).
Considering that this show was supposed to be about Baekje's most famous general, remarkably little screen time was devoted to his exploits as a general. It turned into the Uija and Eungo Show with Gyebaek as their pawn. At least that's the way it looks to me, having only seen subs for the first 21 episodes.
