I've been having a lot of trouble accessing the last few episodes on Dramacrazy. Hope it resolves itself. MySoju is still about 10 episodes behind with the subbed versions. . . . . . . . . Eungo seems to have kicked her eyeliner up a notch. Is this foreshadowing that she's going to wind up as cold and corrupt as Evil Queen? Or maybe it just means she's been hobnobbing with Gwanggaeto and they've been sharing makeup. ;D Actually there has already been forshadowing comments (applicable to both Uija and Eungo) about holding on to the people you love versus abandoning everything to keep and hold onto power. But since I'm not caught up, I could be mistaken...

Y'know, I think I was better off listening to the last days of Gyebaek. Giving him a life story removes some mystique. Sometimes the less you know, the fascinating it is; yeah I know, the stuff we see from this drama is fiction, but still
The girl playing the love interest is shallower than a puddle

Is this show still only going 32 episodes? That means only 4 more left. If they're planning to show the fate of GyeBaek's wife and kids, he'd better get a move on and get himself a wife and kids. Hope it's Flower Girl and not Warrior Girl.

When how w-h-e-r-e is everyone watching these new shows? I'm in Chicago. The majority of the members who post in the Other Shows section aren't from Chicago so the method of viewing can vary. But, to answer your question, it's mostly by internet via online streaming sites or episode downloads. Some still have a local Korean channel or are cable subscribers. We started using the website DramaFever as our base [Internet Dramas section] earlier this year and pick a couple of dramas from what's available on the site to watch as a group.

I'm watching on my trusty computer. Dramacrazy for next-day unsubbed, Mysoju for subbed (lagging about 10 episodes behind in subbing).

So far she's been a minor, dull character, and GyeBaek has shown no interest in her. Why couldn't it have been that nice girl from the village (who must be grown up by now).

The ratings are so low(11% lower than Gwanggaeto) that they couldn't find a decent actress who's interested in playing a new character. Anyways, the final episode will air on Nov 22. The timeslot will be replaced with another 30-40 episodes drama Light and Shadow, which takes place in 1960s.

Is this a good show or rather mediocre one? Judging on the posts I'm guessing mediocre I'm enjoying this one well enough, especially given the current alternative (Gwanggaeto). It certainly doesn't measure up to Great Queen Seondeuk, but is a lot better than recent KBS offerings. Production values and music are really good. There are NO annoying comic relief characters. The story is not too contrived, with some 3-dimensional characters. This one seems to be all about political intrigue and back-stabbing, with the occasional sword fight thrown in. I'm reserving final judgment til I've seen all the episodes subbed. Why don't you try what I often do when deciding whether to watch a show - pick an episode at random from somewhere in the middle and watch it. If it holds your interest, go back to the beginning and watch from the start. These shows often start off slow with the hero's unhappy childhood; by watching an episode in the middle you get a better idea of what the show is like once it hits it's stride.

Triptaka will not follow the 60's drama. 60's drama will air on the same timeslot as Gyebaek(Mon/Tues). Triptaka will air on same timeslot as Gwanggaeto, which is Sat/Sun. As for the Gyebaek and 60's drama timeslot, MBC is planning to do a completely fictional Chosun dynasty drama where every single characters are fictional(fictional king and everything. basically a fantasy drama). I think the drama is called when a sun and moon meets or something like that

So Triptaka will run against Gwanggaeto because Triptaka is an MBC production ,I never understand networks Gwanggaeto is doing well Triptaka will target the same audience ,people will not desert Gwanggaeto for Triptaka . Only people like us who think Gwanggaeto is complete idiocy will watch Triptaka .
Sun/Moon may be alright Daemang was a fictional drama set in Joseon that had two fictional Kings and a fictional Crown Prince ,when the King is murdered and his brother seizes the throne the Crown Prince hides out with Merchants until the new King being a tyrant finds himself the object of a rebellion organised by the Merchant Guilds .Still to this day one of my fave historical dramas at least as far as Joseon Dynasty ,And it made stars of Jang Hyuk and Lee Yo Won so you never know . And as a bonus it had the best female swords woman i have seen in a Sageuk ,also made a star of Son Ye Jin too.
