Ottoeshimnikka UKFan? YEs I agree, DJG is a world-wide phenomenon too, so I'd say it was very successful ^__^ me too, I changed in some ways because of DJG and Lee Young Ae's character in DJG as Jang Geum sometimes inspires me ^^, Wow, it's your first drama? for me, it was my first historical KDrama & I loved it..! I mean, I'm still loving it! laterz :] Otto...what? please translate, and what ever it is the same to you ;D (sorry, I can't help it ..it is funny!) Yes, DJG was my first K-drama, in fact first asian drama ever. Previously, I just watch what ever is on the box so, watching K-drama is now my favourite R&R activity. Personally, I still like Lady Han best followed by DJG. All except the last part of the drama was excellent and I still find the last part although it has a good ending has left me feeling a bit "empty" as a large number of the key characters have either died, sent to exile or excluded from the main story line. What do you think? uk fan

Hello ukfan, Wow, I haven't been on here for a while....lots of posts to catch up on! I watched the pandacam today. Tai Shan really has grown alot! ;D I also felt the end of DJG was a little empty because most of the main characters had gone, although it was still a happy ending. Maybe it was because there were no 'villians' left. Actually, I found DJG a little bit empty after Lady Han died. Poor Jang Geum was left on her own. BBC haven't replied to my letters, but I'll keep pestering them to show Dae Jang Geum. Meanwhile I'm thinking about writing to MBC and tell them BBC are interested in purchasing rights to show DJG in the UK, and see what happens. ;D Dinner time so I'd better go now. Take care everyone. Love, Yunyun

Hi Yunyun We have not seen you here lately, and I guess you must be very busy with your school work. Anyway, Tai Shan as you know is bursting with energy and has most certainly grown a great deal. Do you know all zoos outside China have to pay China a fee of one million dollars (US) per year per panda? Apparently this is one of the many terms and conditions for keeping pandas in their zoos. Since you have not been to this board for a while, I shall update you on a very interesting development. It has been reported that Yang Mi-Kyung and little JG will be visiting the Philippines in the 22nd of this month for a couple of days - it seems that Yang Mi-Kyung is more popular than Lee Young-Ae in the Philippines! ;D Sorry to hear that BBC haven't reply to your letter and it seems that writing to MBC to get the ball rolling might be a very sound idea I agree with you about the fact that after Madam Han passed away, the drama became very empty. Personally, I would have preferred to see more of little JG with Madam Han.....at least 3 DVDs worth, haha! The interactions between Madam Han and little JG were very natural......just like a real mum and daughter relationship ;D All the best and don't work too hard Till next time uk fan

LOL. she was my heroine until the later episodes i grew to love lee young ae more, but then i still love ms. YMK :] yes, there's many characters that died or sent to exile, esp. the bad guys, as for me twas okay, but when lady choi died already i kinda missed her sinister ways ^__^ & when lady han died, i felt empty too but thx to jang geum & sir min my longing for mamanim lessened, but there were times i just wanted to see her, so i just watche the first few episodes ;D

Ah So...Lady Han, so that's what it means. ;D Quite clearly, my Korean language was not up to scratch! BTW have you seen Valeoftears music videos? I like them and personally, I like to look back on my initial impression of watching DJG last summer and reading the slight variation of views and opinions by other viewers her on this board. Sometimes, I said to myself, "Is that what happened, or was that what was said??" It is quite a challenge watching a drama with subtitles especially in my case I have the PMP version and the subtitles weren't that great. Anyway, continue to enjoy DJG everyone. uk fan

The chance is she will not come to Europe, in fact she should visit Thailand next where she has a large fan base as well. I don't mind. Just kidding - I am too old for this you know? Sorry to know that she didn't do the usual autograph signing especially you guys have been waiting for hours to see her.....but the long wait has been worth it right? uk fan

Hi ukfan, I haven't been on here for a while (because of too much homework....again ). I hope you are well. Wouldn't it be great if Dae Jang Geum was shown on BBC and Yang Mi Kyung and Lee Young Ae came to England? ;D Maybe they could visit Europe on the way so it's not such a long plane journey. Maybe not.....but you never know I heard about Jo Jung Eun was in a film recently called 'Superkid'. Which is a bit like 'Spy Kids'. It's quite cute. Thanks for the VODs that you made. I especially liked the Lady Jung one. Did you see the photo of Lady Han and Little Jang Geum that I posted on the 'In the Philippines' thread? ;D Hi lady han, glad you got to see your idol Yang Mi-Kyung ;D Thanks for the photos. Bye for now Love, Yunyun

Hi Yunyun Glad to see you back here, but the priority is school work first and watching TV and K-Dramas second right? ;D I am glad school and college is all behind me..hehe! Thanks for your positive feedback to my first attempt in creating a music video (but all credit must be given to "Valeoftears", she was the one who introduced DJG Music videos to this board and her videos are by far more superior compared to mine...I basically copied hers Will Yang Mi-Kyung or Lee Young-Ae visit UK? Well I think we have to accept that it will not happen unless you manage to get BBC to air DJG and get a few millions of fans. (wouldn't that be nice?) .....at the end of the day, it is a business, so let's see what happens next Yes, I have seen the picture of YMK and JJE (when she was a bit younger) ..thanks. If I am not wrong JJE is 10 years old this year and I am sure she has a bright further ahead of her...and I wish her all the best with her new film (Superkid?) ;D Lady Han, and Scopio, thank you both for posting those lovely pics and VODs of YMK and JJE during their visit in the Philippines - Kamsahamnida! Till next time uk fan
