....Hi Bo ....I quite liked Woo Jin's family too (coincidentally both her mum and dad were in Dae Jang Geum... Refresh my memory. I know the father because I just finished watching Brilliant Legacy and he's the father in that one--much different character. The mother seems familiar, but I can't place either one of them in DJG. I love that drama!! ;D In DJG, the father in Spotlight was the doctor/physician who conspired with Yeol Yi (the evil nurse ;D) to get Jang Geum into trouble when the epidemic/plague spread in a town (Jang Geum ended up being stuck in the town fire, until Min Jung Ho came to the rescue). I just had a quick search and I think he's also the one who pretended to commit suicide and later helps Jang Geum as a witness/evidence of Lady Choi's wrongdoings. The mother is Jang Geum's foster parent/"aunt"..

He was the same character who pretended to die, btw--at that point, he had become the head physician or some similar high office. I wondered if the Spotlight mom had also been DJG's foster mom, thanks for confirming. Bo

MBC will be holding their annual Drama Awards ceremony on December 30. JJH is one of the nominees for the "Best Actor" award, and it seems likely he'll receive the award given Dong Yi's good ratings and the good response that JJH's character got from viewers. The popularity awards for the ceremony are done through internet voting, and the voting page opened yesterday. It's really important that overseas fans also show their support for JJH by voting for these awards (especially for the 'Most popular actor' award), the competition for this year is extremely fierce (Kim Hyun Joong and Lee Min Ho are really famous for the huge amount of votes they always get from their fans, and Lee Sun Kyun and Yoo Seung Ho are also really popular actors) so it's unlikely JJH will win the award but the voting numbers are shown as a graph on the night of the ceremony and it wouldn't look good if there was a huge difference in the voting numbers between the other actors and JJH.. and we don't want to disappoint JJH right? Here are the web site addresses (One I.D = one vote): Best Couple award: www.imbc.com/broad/tv/ent/event/2010mbc/couple/Most popular actor & actress award (You have to vote for one male and one female actor): www.imbc.com/broad/tv/ent/event/2010mbc/popular/index.htmlBest drama award: www.imbc.com/broad/tv/ent/event/2010mbc/drama/index.htmlYou need to log in to be able to vote. If you don't have an account for MBC, it's really easy to join. 1) To join, first go into one of the websites above and click on the "become a member" button at the top of the page (labelled in the picture below). Alternatively, go to member.imbc.com/User/Join.htmlUploaded with ImageShack.us2) Once you are taken to a new page, click on the purple button for "Foreigner Living in Abroad" (in English) section. 3) Then click on "I Agree" for both sections and then click on the purple button at the bottom of the page. 4) Fill out the form (in English), and then click on the purple button at the bottom of the page. *When you choose an ID, use 6-12 small letters english alphabets, numbers and _ only. When you enter in your ID, a pop up screen will come up and you should enter in your ID there. Then click on the button. If you then only see one purple button, this means your I.D is already taken, so you need to choose another ID. If you see both a purple and grey button, click the purple 'box' to confirm that you want to use this username. 5) You should now be a member. Go to one of the websites above and log in (see picture above at step 1) 6) Then vote for Dong-Suk couple (best couple), JJH and an actress of your choice (Most popular actor & actress), and Dong Yi (Best drama award) ;D If you have any questions, feel free to ask me!

Hi everyone!! Happy new year!! ;D The MBC Drama Awards ceremony was held live yesterday. Congratulations on JJH for getting the Best Actor award ("Top Excellence Award")!! JJH was really awesome yesterday (as usual ;D) he was witty, looked really handsome, and it was so nice to see him being on really good terms with everyone at the Dong Yi table, it was obvious that the Dong Yi team had amazing teamwork. He was also one of the actors that got the most screen time. ;D This was what JJH said in his speech for his "Top Excellence Award": "Thank you to Director Lee Byung Hoon and Writer Kim Yi Young, who made such an attractive king character. The Dong Yi team was truly the best team, I also thank them very much. I sincerely thank my mother, mother in law, father, father in law, and my wife whom I love who will be watching this at home. My son thinks that I am the best in the world. I will try my best until the end so that my son will be able to continue to believe that I am the best." I loved his speech! ;D For me it was almost 5.30 am when it finished due to the time difference between Korea and where I live and now I'm so tired lol But it was totally worth it! ;D Dong Yi was the drama that got the most number of awards, including Han Hyo Joo getting the Daesang ("Grand Prize"). Below are the winners for 2010 MBC Drama Awards from the Dong Yi cast (translation for the award names from soompi): Daesang/Grand Prize: Han Hyo Joo (Dong Yi - she won the award with Kim Nam Joo, from "Queen of reversals") Top Excellence Award: Ji Jin Hee (Suk Jong) Excellence Award: Lee So Yeon (Jang Hee Bin from Dong Yi) Golden Acting Award (for supporting character): Kim Yoo Suk (Jang Hee Jae from Dong Yi) Rookie Award: Park Ha Sun (Queen In Hyeon from Dong Yi) Child Actor Award: Kim Yoo Jung (child actor for Dong Yi), Lee Hyung Suk (prince Yeon Ying Kun (Dong Yi and Suk Jong's son)) Best Drama Picked By Netizens: Dong Yi Popularity Award: Han Hyo Joo Some photos from yesterday:

I am watching him in Four Sisters now. So cute.
The only problem with casting him as the rejected lover (in 4 Sis or, say, Spring Days) is...WHAT KIND OF IDIOT would reject JJH? Makes you lose all respect for the heroine. LOL.

She came out on SBS “Good Morning” with her mother. While talking about possible future husbands, Lee Yoon Ji was asked “what type of style do you prefer in men” and she said “I like a person who I can trust rather than good looking.” Then the MC asked her “who would that be in the entertainment business?” and she said “It’s probably Ji Jin Hee.” Lee Yoon Ji’s mother said “you can’t abandon me and your father after you get married” making the entire studio burst out into laughter. Lee Yoon Ji and her mother showed a great mother-daughter relationship on the show. Hi, TheBo Nice to meet you here!!!! I think no one will be back here anymore. I am so happy now Thanks you for replying to me. I promise i will not tell your boyfriend ;D I have a news twssg.blogspot.com/2011/08/news-ji-jin-hee-finishes-filming.htmlJi Jin-hee finishes filming upcoming Chinese movie. Cr. - 10asia 2011-08-08 Ji Jin-hee has finished shooting an upcoming Chinese film, according to his agency fantagio. On Monday, fantagio announced in a press release that Ji, who played the male lead role of Ju-hwan, recently completed filming the Chinese drama tentatively titled "On the Way" which will open in local theaters early next year. "On the Way" tells the story of Ju-hwan (Ji) who by chance falls in love with a Chinese woman (played by Chinese actress Eva Huang) on a train while traveling in China to forget his past lover. The film also stars Korean actress Cha Soo-yeon who plays his wife named Eun-yeon. "It was hard since we shot the movie traveling back and forth from Korea and China but I feel like I was able to pull off my role thanks to the help from my co-stars and production staff," Ji was quoted as saying. Ji rose to fame for his role in "Jewel in the Palace" in 2003 and has starred in the Hong Kong film "Perhaps Love". He has appeared in a number of TV series such as “Miss Kim’s Adventures in Making a Million (2004),” “Spotlight (2008),” “The Man Who Can't Get Married (2009)," and films “The Old Garden (2007),” “Bewitching Attraction (2006)” “Soo (2007)” and “Parallel Life (2009).” I think ji jin hee at his age (40) is look good more than in the past. He also handsome when he was younger but now he is more handsome and attractive. I miss djg,markho826 and all. Hope one day they will come back here Thank you very much, TheBo richerm ( who is poor English )
