Needed to see more of Min Jong Ho (Ji Jin-Hee), so I bought the DVD Love Letter (released with English subtitles by YesAsia). Can I just tell you equally smitten fans that he is REALLY adorable in this series, too. His hair is rather long and spiky, very cute. (However, the beard is my preference, too............)

yet another completely unrealistic archetype of man for me to futilely long after
my sketchbooks are starting to fill up with drawings of him looking so cute in his old school choson cop clothes and ceremonial robes.
definitely keep the beard
i mean not too many men can look good in a topknot AND an addidas jacket

Hey, 'Inkbrush, what's "yangban charm"? Sounds good. I believe "yangban" is the gentry social cla$s that Sir Min belongs to. V.i.b., can u pls give Lucy the full scoop?

Lucy,
yangban refers to both a korean social class and way of living life, the yangban were well-educated, well bred aristocrats who were viewed s having the responsibility of being examples to the people. even if they were impoverished, they were still given respect for their scholarship and family history. unfortunately, many became corrupt and the people saw them as simply an upper class expoiting the lower ones, which is why sir min gets in trouble when he tries to help that village with the outrbreak. but ideally the yangban epitomized the confucian ethos of hard work, scholarship and moral conduct
