Thanks for the photos, djg! He's so good to look at! (I seriously laughed so much when I heard this, JJH is awesome!! He was able to be modest (about his popularity in Japan) and funny (by saying he's as handsome as Song Seung Hun) at the same time ;D) You don't think he's as handsome at SSH? I guess it's a matter of taste, but I'd pick JJH any day.  |

Hi nyk0le and ginnycat5! Glad that you enjoyed the photos & translation, I'll try and update the thread as often as I can.  ginnycat5, by that comment I didn't mean to say that at all - of course I think that JJH is better looking than Song Seung Hun ;D - to me, JJH is the most handsome man in the world, and I would also definitely pick JJH any day, whether it be SSH or any other actor. All I meant by that comment was that I think JJH must have mentioned SSH (spontaneously) for that purpose - because SSH has an image generally as an actor who is really handsome and extremely popular in Japan, he was just joking by using that image. The main reason the joke is really funny is because the comment was so random - and it was also impressive because JJH was able to respond to Han Hyo Joo's comment that he seems to be really popular in Japan in a way that was both funny and modest - he probably couldn't say "No I'm not popular" (Because that would be lying ;D) and he may have been embarassed to say "Yes I am really popular" (given Korea's culture of emphasizing modesty). haha I think I've gone way too in depth to explain myself, but it was basically just another one of JJH's witty jokes ;D |

djg - thank you for the translation of the recent section interview of HHJ & JJH. he seems funny in real life. i came across this thread a couple of years ago while searching for dae jang geum & now i'm here again b/c of dong yi. ha! keep up the good work.

DJG, I Hope you don't mind me translating the interview in my language, in my country we have a blog were we discus about Korean music, movies, foods and many other things. And although it's not broadcasted by any television station in my country Dong Yi has a lot of fans here, mainly because of Ji Jin Hee and Dae Jang Geum which was already broadcasted twice and I wanted to share with them what I've read here. P.S. I've mentioned this forum as the source.

Huh. Song Seung-hun is okay, but he doesn't have a patch on JJH! LOL. I wish I could watch Dong Yi at the same time as you guys! Just not enough time in the day!

Hi Bo! There's no doubt about it - JJH is better than Song Seung Hun in every respect, whether it be in looks, acting, or as a person ;D - To be honest, I really don't like Song Seung Hun for a number of reasons.... (I guess there may be Song Seung Hun fans that are reading this thread, so I think I'll stop here  ) Hope you can watch Dong Yi soon! Now that Dong Yi has been going on for so long, I can't imagine my life without it anymore.. And thanks apdy! JJH is an awesome person in real life, and once you catch the 'jinhee virus' (ie become a fan ;D ) there is really no cure ;D Hope to see you in the thread more often! Hi nyk0le, feel free to translate anything that I've translated (lol) here, as long as you mention this thread/forum as the source It's always a good thing to spread the 'jinhee virus' around the world, right? TheBo, english may not be my first language, but I know enough, and I saw enough american movies to know what that means, I may be doing some writing mistakes, but for example I can watch an english movie/tv series and understand what's going on without any subtitles.

Oh, no, I wasn't trying to say you were deficient in English. In fact, it never occurred to me that English was not your first language until I saw you saying you wanted to translate something from English TO your language. I guess I've been invaded by the "better be safe than sorry" bug--since watching Assorted Gems, where an American character (who speaks excellent Korean) constantly asks to be explained the colloquial expressions his friends use. I thought I'd better explain right away, just in case. Please forgive me. I wasn't trying to insult you...I'm just a natural explanation-giver. Even when people don't need it. Ask my clerk.
