On Nov 13, JJH arrived at the airport around noon.
Journalists came out first before the four leads did and the long banner of Suk Jong's captures caught their eyes, i.e. the one held up by four people in one of the photos of JJH's Taiwan Trip.
When JJH saw the long banner, he at once recognized several faces among us and came up right away to shake hands with us.
Media gathered around them and we could hardly move forward.
JJH had boarded a coach for the hotel when we finally made our way through the crowd and dashed out of the airport.
As he saw us (around 10-12 people), he got off and shook hands with us one by one ;D (I can't forget the grip of his warm big hand~)
'Dong Yi' function (function? gathering? or what?) started at 3 pm in a shopping mall.
JJH and HHJ introduced themselves using Chinese. (Nice Chinese, Jinhee Obba, you did a good job ~)
I can't remember what they were talking about... but, when Mr. BAE (
the male second lead???) shared his experience of filming 'Dong Yi', JJH took out his camera and took photos of attendants of the function
They were then invited to play a game on the stage, i.e. throwing darts at balloons. JJH's kind of, wow, it's easy...When someone missed the target, his facial expressions told that "It's too bad..." It's interesting and funny ;D
They had interviews with media after that and should dine out with people from the broadcasting station (the one airing 'Dong Yi').
News said that they drank three bottles of Taiwanese Gaoliang / Sorghum wine (58%) and one bottle of whisky in the dinner......
When JJH came to the place of our gathering (we booked a large room in the same hotel where the 'Dong Yi' team lodged), he was so tired that (I think) he might fall sleep anytime...
We chatted and laughed for 1.5 hours. I remember that he laughed at my red nose (turned red like Ruldoph the reindeer because of atopic dermatitis) and said that I should have drunk... Actually, he's the one who almost got drunk......
I asked if he would come to Hong Kong with 'Dong Yi' Team in November but he said he would come in December after his trip to Africa...
We did not talk much about his coming schedule and hence I have nothing to update you all...
The 'Dong Yi' team had lots of interviews on the second day. They did not leave the hotel except going out for meals......
When the four of us returned to the hotel on the second night (around 10 pm), we met JJH's manager (Mr. JI also) who was about to go out with the actors except JJH. Mr. JI said JJH was so tired and he had already gone to bed...
On the third day, we met JJH again in the hotel lobby wearing a sick look
He said that he had been vaccinated (for the trip to Africa) and he had pain all over. He was sweating but shivering with cold.
One friend of ours finally hurried to the hotel with JJH's favorite pineapple cake (He was a fine arts student when he was addicted to JJH virus and he's now a teacher). My friend took out a painting book (with drawings and a short story) and showed it to JJH. JJH liked it very much and his eyes shone!
He asked if my friend could give it to him and even asked my friend to sign it... ;D
He then asked the interpreter to interprete each line of the story for him and he himself wrote it down in a notebook. He said he would read the story to his son.
Something happened when they went to the airport to check in.
JJH left his passport in the hotel (I think he really did not feel well and forgot such an important thing there)......
A hotel staff hurried to the airport with his passport but he and his manager failed to catch the flight. (He should fly in economy class when he finally went back to Korea)
JJH is the spotlight of the team in Taiwan trip and the ratings of 'Dong Yi' are good.
I'm sorry that I can't share any photo for the time being.
