Thanls for the fill-in, dodgerman. Your Charles and lollypop ideas are a scream. You're giving zorro a run for his $$ as Board jokster!
Suin's mom always seems underwater. I'm not surprised she waited. Tonight she'll probably apologize to Lady Doc.

I missed most of Monday's episode but Gangster Aunt proved even more to me tonight that she's an ignorant brute. She keeps putting the blame on Whimpy for not knowing Jisu was her daughter all along, even though GA has heard the part that whimpy was told Jisu died. GA is one character I wouldn't mind just disappearing off the scene, much like that guy at the airport from YAMD that was courting Sooby doo.

I didn't know Juho and shinae were that old, 18, I had them at 16 the most. I still have the old school Jamaican system in me where you graduate high school at 15 going 16.
I really like how fast Dr Dad's memory seems to be coming back, at least a part of the story is moving on. Jisu/Hiro... that kiss was bold on his part but we all know she's still gonna push him away. That doll mouthed assistant of hers is an annoying gossip monger; disgusting.

I thought J & S were 14 or 15 too. I still dont get that Jisu has not been on a date. She is 27, college educated, has a good job & is pretty-what's up with her?? I could see if the writers said she never really had a serious boyfriend, but NO dates?? That does not compute. Maybe it got lost in the translation.

To quote Shakespeare"Oh what a tangled web we weave, when we start to deceive." The "adults" should have told the 3 girls their parentage a long time a go. Suin(Mr Han is Dad & his first wife is Mom) is 29, Jisu(Mrs Han is Mom and Dead Guy is Dad) is 27 & Sumi(Mr & Mrs Han's child ) is 24--I thought she was 17. They certainly should have been told when they legally became adults. But then there would be no Drama. So Jisu & Sumi are half sisters having the same Mom & Suin & Sumi are half sisters having the same Dad. Suin & Jisu are not related by blood. I see major therapy in the future for these 3 babes.

Sumi needs it the most though, middle child syndrome has ruined her. To be fair though, not all middle children are like that but I know and have known quite a few. Why do they seem to hold on to trivial things so much though? Wow. I wonder what part Suin's going to be surprised over come Monday.

Hyeonsu is so confused...and confusing. First he tells Jisu that it's over between him and Suin, he can't hurt the family, he's leaving his job. Then last nite, he practically begs Suin to ask him to stay. I don't blame her for saying No. He left her once before because he "wasn't ready". She probably thinks, "Yeah, I love the guy but he can't make up his mind."
I like the coma Doc subplot and am rooting for the kids to keep "studying" together but Minsu and his wife and MIL are a little boring and Jisu. Come on, girl? You KNOW you like him!
And Yuri shopping with Suin's credit card to relieve her stress - wish I could do that. I guess they're rich. I know she's an adult but why won't her wimpy Mom take back the card and tell her to grow up? Yuri gets away with a lot of bad behavior and her folks always say, "Oh you know how she is." That's enabling.

The best cure for her is to match her stinking attitude. When she's all angry at everyone, they shouldn't pet her but just leave her till she comes around, after all if she's ignored, who will she yell at or throw tantrums at? And if she does, give her a good slap; she wants to act like a rotten, spoilt child then get discipllined like one. Sumi likes it when her mom is running behind her trying to friend her up, it's so irritating to watch how wimpy gives in to that grown arse brat everytime. If they tell Sumi to shut the heck up, get over it and grow up or move out, some change is bound to come. I'm still not counting out a slap or punch to the face and have gangster aunt there too to get some.

Of course I meant Sumi, brooklyn. And last nite Wimpy tells her she'll throw out the memory box and never mention or see Jisu again. Now THAT'S abandonment!

Puppy, I can't remember who Yuri is now lol, was she Hosae's sister or was she in Pure in Heart? ... I really don't know how to take this part of the drama now. Wimpy's actions aren't making any sense at all; she even apologized to grouchy mom in the cafe tonight, I was speechless. Now everything has turned on wimpy as the bad person in the situation; really makes you scratch your chin and head here cause it looks like GA is going to get away with all the nasty things she's done.
Anyway, the previews has handsome dad talking to Sumi, I hope she gets it good. There're 120 eps in all, I hope they don't drag Sumi's rottenness out any longer.

Maybe I didn't see it right but I have some questions... on the Yongwan's headstone, it said he died in 1983, right? Jisu is 27 in the drama... to be 27, she'd have to be born in 81 maybe 82... 1 or 2 years before her father died, so how did all the secrets come about then? I think Minsu is 32, so he'd be 5 when Jisu appeared... how can he not remember anything?

I'm coming to the conclusion that we shouldn't question these dramas too closely, brooklyn.
I thought that Wimpy gave birth to Jisu right about the same time Yongwan died and her mother took the baby away from her in the hospital and gave it to Lady Doc's family to raise so her daughter wouldn't be stuck with a kid and no husband. That would mean Yongwan never knew about Jisu. But his brother, Coma doc, does. He told Jisu he was her uncle last nite. Seeing Wimpy at the hospital the day before triggered his memory.
They make a big deal about Jisu's age so it has to be crucial to the plot but how can she have been almost two when her father died? Does Wimpy ever refer to herself as a widow? Maybe she and Yongwan were divorced while she was preg (shades of Suin) and her mom took the baby away so she'd have another shot at marriage.
They go over and over the same stuff in this drama - endless talking in coffee shops or around the table - that when they drop in a hint or something new we miss it. And I also think the writers deliberately try to confuse us. I guess it's fun when the story is a good one. TRH is only mediocre so it gets a little annoying.

Ah, yes, puppy, this is my 6th drama I believe; I should know better by now lol, but it's as you said about the age being crucial to the plot. That's what got to me. They shouldn't have shown the headstone so clearly then or make sure to do the math. I thought I was the only Asian bad at math =P
I couldn't feel sorry for Jisu tonight somehow, maybe if the actress had a less non-caring-party-girl look; and Sumi, augh, dear Sumi. x.x

.....They make a big deal about Jisu's age so it has to be crucial to the plot but how can she have been almost two when her father died?........ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/East_Asian_age_reckoningI remembered this topic coming up in some other context. Using the way age is calculated described in the above article shows why Jisu might be thought to be older than she really is.
