Korean people must be the politest on the fac of the Earth. One ep, Creepy ex is beating up Hyeonsu & trying to ruin his business & last night they sat down for tea. Creepy's Mom comes into Suin's home and sits down for some water-no one says a word. How about the abuse?? How about the police reports in the US?? How about the frigging gay lover for pete's sake? No one says a word. The show ended last night with Creepy on his knees apologizing. If they make nice to him, I will scream!!!! I hope Sumi spits in his eye--she has some backbone in her.

LOL Dodgerman!!!
I don't know, I want to give the show a break but I can't turn away somehow. Seongtae and his mom sure are convinced it's a boy and that they can just take the baby after 'he' is born. I hope it's a girl just to soak them. The way the family stood there looking at Seongtae as he knelt crying was a joke to me and they know what he has done. My mum would've thrown some licks on that boy, not to mention my father and brothers.

I can't understand the "polite" thing either. I mean, really, if Seongtae is that much of a creep, why would you engage him by constantly meeting with him and his family -- just ignore their requests -- plain and simple. But, somehow, these people always sit down to have coffee and a discussion -- WHY, WHY, WHY ?? !!

Here we are on ep 55 ., But I'm way past that I'm on ep 103 . here are a couple of spoilers , I don't want to give it all away . So I wont say which eps . Hyeonsu 's grandfather tells Hyeonsu Suin's mom is his Aunt . Hyeonsu finds out that Suin's mom is not her real mom . Suin will lose the baby . Hyeonsu 's Dad wakes up but doesn't recognize Hyeonsu and his Mom . Jisu finally tells Hiro how she feels about him but keeps it secret from everyone else . Suin and Hyeonsu will marry without the blessing of Hyeonsu 's parents .

I predicted in the beginning Suin would lose the baby -- except that I thought it would happen earlier in the show. It is the only way that Hyensou & Suin can be a couple. Having to deal with Seongtae and his mother is too much to ask of any family --then it would become an AMerican drama!

Tonight The Road Home didn't go on - my tv just had a screen with a Colon Cleansing Commerical....I called WMBC and they said it wasn't on their end. I called my Cable Co. RCN and am now waiting for my cable box to refresh itself. Anyone else with this issue? What did I miss?

It aired at my end. We get cablevision. You didn't miss much, just some more crying from Suin, her parents, and Seongtae. His mom came in to blame and yell at Suin then the mom turned on her son and slapped him a few times and blamed him for it. In between that was Hyeonsu's dad wandering off to find Yangpyeong and getting lost so everyone was looking for him. Hyeonsu still doesn't know Suin lost the baby, her phone is off. That's the most I can remember.

Thanks a lot, brooklyn! After two calls to my cable provider, they did something and WMBC came back but of course the show was long since over. It was weird as my cable provider went digital a couple of months ago and WMBC did as well and I didn't have a problem then....I'll watch it when it gets uploaded to one of the drama sites...

Nobody has character transformations as quickly as Creepy Ex does. Tuesday night he was dragging Suin into the river to drown her, the baby and himself. After the miscarraige, he was crying his creepy eyes out and pathetic. The show ended with Hyeonsu on his way to talk to him & I bet Creepy tells him he is going back to The States. Before she collapsed by the river, Suin said she would go with Creepy to The States-would it have been a threesome with the Chinese gay dude??

You're welcome mara, I'm glad to hear you got it back too.
Creepy has deep anger issues thanks to his parents beating him badly when he was a kid. I think he would've ditched the chinese guy now that Suin was pregnant, but then again, who knows.

Whatever happened to the gay theme? Lost in K-drama space. The Chinese lover was never again mentioned. It's as though the writers put out both reasons for their divorce, and whatever the public wanted, they ran with that.

I'm with you, dodgerman. I didn't for one minute believe Seongtae's transformation. Not that the writers didn't intend it to be real, just that it's so absurd. He's fed to us as as brutal psychopath but because his ex lost the baby, he's suddenly reformed. No way!
In most of the K-dramas I've seen, the villains just do their nasty and disappear or undergo some sort of conversion at the end - bad girls give up their ways and become good, heels like Seongtae turn into pitiful saints. We never really see them punished, at least in the ten or so I've watched. The historicals are a little different - the baddies (and some goodies) get whacked - but in these contemps, we're all set up for a nice retribution scene and instead, everybody makes nicey-nice.
I missed a few episodes. Can somebody tell me what happened to Suin's sister's starring role in a movie? Last I heard, she was on her way to see the director and now, nobody mentions it. I thought it was going to be a new story line.
And I'm enjoying Coma Doc's new role. I always thought he was sort of a stodgy actor but he's so sweet thinking he's young again. He behaves like a child with his round face and wide eyes.
I still can't take Suin's mom, though; don't know why she pushes my buttons. And I was annoyed at Jisu, one of my favorites, for standing up off Hiro last night.

Puppy, Someone(maybe Jisu's lady boss??), finds out that the director who offered Sumi the job was a front for Creepy. Creepy was trying to get in the family's good graces. Hopefully, we have seen the last of Creepy, slinking back to The States, weeping his creepy eyeballs out.

Blah, I want to get that crying scene by the river out of my head x.x But yeah, I do agree that it was too quick how Creepy came around and left untouched, I forgot to slip that in my previous post there. The writers wanted to move on from that quickly, I guess.
Puppy, Hiro and Jisu make me want to smack them both at times. Tonight at the end I especially wanted to slap Jisu. She's turning out to be so very dumb when it comes to love. How can she not bloody see that Hiro has the hots for her? Wow.
Gangster Aunt's fall better be a great one, she's going on for a long time now with no punch to the mouth in sight. She'll probably yell at Whimpy right there too and throw water in her face.

Last night, after gangster Aunt's slip of the tongue about getting the baby, the light finally went on in Jisu's real Mom's head. What i acnt believe is that she didnt immediatley storm over to Lady Doc's and demand to know about Jisu. She actually waited until the next afternoon. Now that the big secrets are out-Suin's Mom is Hyeonsu's Aunt & Jisu's real Mom, what are they going to do for the rest of the eps? Maybe they can bring in Charles from YAMD to give dance lessons to everyone & have Jo( with the lollipops ) investigate the accident that killed Do'c bro.
