Ah Betz let's not forget about www.koreandramas.net! You have attended our semi-annual get togethers quite regularly. Koreandramas.net is based in the Philadelphia area with members on every continent except Antarctica. (I guess the penguins haven't learned to type yet.) Anyway, we get together 2 times a year - typically September and April to share fun food and prizes. Our next one is coming up on September 29Th and all are welcome! Now that I have finished my shameless self promotion (thank you Soju & Mods for your tolerance of this quirk of mine), lets get back to the topic at hand - Dae Jo Young.... You can find episode summaries for all episodes aired in Philly on WYBE here (AZN is behind WYBE)..... forum.koreandramas.net/viewforum.php?f=92You can also find lots of pics, links and chatter about various characters and plot lines. Hey this is great! Where is the event on the 29th in case any of us want to make it out? Thanks

It's a good show if you like the historical dramas Ani. Like most others series' of it's kind, the storyline is set in a time of war. Having said that there is a lot more to it than just fighting. I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

I know it well.

Thanks again!

DJY really has a thing for sucking out disgusting "fluids" from people's bodies, doesn't he? (Chulin's snake bite and that poor boy with the infected leg) YUCK !
I'm usually very good at recognizing people from other shows, but I can't place where I've seen "King" Anseung (not much of a King) before. Does anyone know?

Just for the record, will it be okay for those of us who are not on your blog page to attend?

I think Anseung played the baby sun of Admiral Yi Soon Shin. Sorry, bad joke. Prince Anseung just looks so young. My wife thought he was a seven year old when she first saw him.

Thanks T! Just for the record, will it be okay for those of us who are not on your blog page to attend? LOL Well if we were a blog the answer would be no. But since we are a Forum the answer is emphatically YES. ;D Everyone is more than welcome. All you need to do is let me know you are coming. I like to keep a head count for a few reasons... 1. We are typically in a room with limited size. 2. The restaurant using wants a rough idea of how many are coming. 3. I make sure everyone goes home with at least 1 prize. 4. I make name tags ahead of time.

Should be able to let you know in the next couple. Thanks again!

I'm not sure what you mean by "stop action" but the ebb and flow of action in the storyline has been relatively mild in comparison to some other K-Dramas. Post your reactions to this weeks episodes tonight, tomorrow or Saturday. Do your best to avoid spoiling the storyline for the New York folks on this thread. (They're a little behind WYBE up there).

That way, no one, whether in the Chicago viewing area or the East Coast area will "accidently" post or read a spoiler. It's just best to do it that way to avoid a mistake. Welcome to our board Waterlily!
