We can see what a liar this guy is. First he cuts off the head of the emissary and attempts to blame his actions on others by saying that it wasn't his idea in the first place. When that lie falls flat he attempts to redeem himself with words. I think that he killed the guy ecause he didn't want Tang or the Khan to know that he'd been secretly negotiating with Bu Kwon through the use of the Tang spies, Chulin, and Liu. He's a sly dog! He even seems to shock Khan when he admits to the Tang general that he didn't intend to honor a word of his so called agreement with Bu Kiwon regarding the surrender of Goguyro. The general from Tang was shocked but Khan looked flabbergasted. This guy will stop at nothing to win, including breaking every acceptable norm in warfare and gentlemanly negotiations. He's a baaaaaaad hombre.

Donald Trump! I would never have thought to make such a comparison. But the likeness is uncanny. ;D You mean, the swagger and wig, rite WIG?? He doesn't wear a wig. He just brushes all his hair to the front to cover up (a) possible bald spot(s). ;D

He's a baaaaaaad hombre. I'm pretty sure it was the Tang that kept insisting people follow certain rules when warring with another nation. They kept saying that there's certain things that a man has to do and that is to keep their word. That's all I thought the Tang were capable of, but alas, that's not the case. Good thing Goguryeo has DJY and the new HC. I haven't watched the show in a long time, but is it okay to like Namseng now? He seems to have changed a lot since the beginning.

I don't know Nalbal. I like him alot less than I used to. He is honorless and therefore loses my sympathy.

Well, he's already lost quite a bit of mine as well, but when he strokes his hair and waves that feather duster around, I can't help but laugh...but I am dissapointed at his behaviour.

Except he's out to disrupt the peace (that's already quickly fleeting) by trying to recapture the Goguryeo prisoners! I wish he'd give up sometimes, lol.

Lol, he really can be trying at times, Bae. The thing is, FeatherDuster knows (or at leasts suspects) that Namseng is fishing for his job. He knows that if something goes wrong with this project, he, not Namseng, will be held responsible. FeatherDuster knows that if that happens, then Namseng will probably get his job. (I wish... ) And practically promising his head to that Li Wen! How more reckless can he get??

A "chance" at his head, which I took to mean a challenge to a duel between the two of them. That I'd love to see, and it would be Xue over Li hands down.

I know that the Khitan will win over the Tang in the end. Well, it's my hunch at least. They're more formidable than the Tang if one really thinks about what we've seen in the show.

Does anyone watch the SBS history drama 'Yeon Gae So Moon'?
Because the actor who played Yi Young Nam on IYSS plays Xue Rengui in that drama.

I love that guy-so handsome, and a very good actor! Too bad our chances of seeing it here in the states are slim to none, unless it gets released as a dvd set...and it usually turns out to be a real chop job unless it's a fairly short series.
