I think he did remember Eunhye, you guys . . . after he called to her, "Ms Eunhye," at the bus station, she looked at him and asked, "Do you remember me?" And he answered, "Yes, you're Ms Eunhye. Seo Eunhye.". Thank you to you to be by my side.... I'm sure he remembers her name... I really like when she ask to him if he was happy now... Don't forget Seo Eunhye is unforgettable....

I watched the rerun and picked up on some points I missed the first time. (There was a fire in our neighborhood, and trucks were blasting by) Anyway, I don't think Eunhye ever accepted the house and money, she didn't want to trade those for Haru's friendship. I wondered why she got so upset when Day announced he was getting the surgery at the dinner table. I thought she wanted him to live even if it meant he couldn't be smart anymore. She did use his notes to pass her test though, and I noticed the pinwheel jewelry he gave her attached to her purse as she was returning on the bus. I think Park was talking to his Mother since they showed a photo of the two of them just before he came on screen. I paid close attention to the last few minutes, and Day does say Eunhye's name without looking at the card, but again, it's more of a memorized answer than one of recognition. I saw disappointment and sadness in Eunhye's eyes when she realized he *doesn't* know her like she hoped he would. That's why she asks the question in her mind if he's really happy now. I think Lucy's interpretation is the most optimistic, and would like to think that willl happen. I agree with you, she was upset... I always rewatching this show.... I was so sad when she said to him if she kept all this things, it was if she exhanged him to have all the beautifuls things.... Oh my God, I just want to cry... Yes, he say her name without looking his book... Don't forget all this wonderful moment... What do you like the most in the world? Money.... ice cream "What do you like the most? ice cream.. What means ice cream for you? it's mean that i'm happy..... " Haru & Eunhye's words... They were really happy only for a week...

It was a really beautiful pinwheel jewelry... like that, we'll never forget that.... And now, like Eunhye said herself, the more important thing that she became "a person, she was alive again" (ep12)

Just my feeling...... When Day saw Eunhye at the end, he absolutely DID recognize her. His eyes lit up, there was that huge smile, he reacted with great happiness. He could not react with the same romantic feelings as before, since that part of his memory was gone. However, she was one of the most special people in Day's life, just as his mother had been. He had also made a huge effort (and a solemn promise) before the surgery to "burn" Eunhye's name and face into his memory. His great love for her was an eternal "energy" in his subconcious mind (and his heart) and that, thankfully, did not go away (although it did take on a different form). His simpler, sweeter self was still capable of harboring great affection for another human being.
