Zorro, yes, Pilgoo helped Dr Park to do the surgery... I think they doesn't need to show more scenes to eplain that... I think Day knows her name, even if it was written on the book, because he know her face. Maybe Eunhye kept her money and her house, but now she prefer earn money with her work, and Mr Pyo lost a little money.... He still always a loan shark....

I don't think he recognized her, I'm going to have to agree with Zorro and say the only reason Day knew her name was because of the card. When he said her name it sounded more like a question, as if her were asking her if she was Seo Eunhye.
Also I think its weird that he wouldn't recognize her. After he received the surgery he recognized her, so why wouldn't he know now after going back to the way he was before? I mean he knew her and recognized her when he was mentally handicapped so he should've recognized her again. But I get the feeling he didn't.
As for the house, I don't think it would've been lost because it was fully paid for and maybe Eunhye used the money to go back to school and get her degree.

Wow, it looks like I missed a good ending to this drama. I knew I would regret seeing MI-3 on friday instead of tuning into the show. This is incredibly sad. I am happy to know though, that it has a semi-happy ending. If they cut Day off like I predicted they would, it would've deeply saddened me. I get easily teary. I wanted Pilgoo and Mrs. Ko to find their way to eachother in the end and since that's what looks like will happen, no protests from me.

I have mixed feelings about this the conclusion of this show. I did not watch the ending and stopped watching about episode 13. However, I did think it was one of the most romantic shows I've seen in a long time. There were some conflicting themes but the characters were great and memorable. Does anyone know what's next for U Gun? He's sooooooooooooo SEXY. I can't wait to see him in another show.

The end was sad, but less than the ep13 for me, yes U Gun is soooooo SEXY, I agree with you.... He plays in those korean movies "Dasepo Naughty Girls" "Multicellular Girl" both with Kim Okvin, she's a lucky girl to see him again, and his last movie"The Peter Pan Formula", but he don't have the leading role.... I hope that he'll play in another kbs show.... If you want to see his angel eyes and his pretty smile, I left a link on his thread "Yoo Gun (U Gun)" on the first page, like this you can take many beautiful pics of the most handsome korean actor, the cutiest for me.... I found many pics in internet, U Gun is so so cute.....

Love the pics, thanks Sushimi. He looks so handsome in all of them. I'm really going to miss him as Day. I thought him and Eunhye were such a cute couple and the chemistry between them was so good. I still can't believe that Eunhye is only 19.

I left another pics in his thread.... Alexa, yes, it's amazing, they had only 19 years old and 22 years old last year, and Yoo Gun for his first leading role could make us cry.... Kim was so lucky to see him in real.... They're cute in the same color, in the ep12.....

I thought the ending was fine: every storyline was at least touched on, and although they weren't fully explained, we got enough info to make some conclusions of our own. No one died, which after the past few dramas was quite a nice change of pace for me. But what I really want to know what drama is coming next. Does anyone have any idea?

They are such a cute couple. I hate when this happens, I get attached to the characters, and even after the drama ends I still think of them. This never happens with American tv shows.

This never happens with American tv shows. - This never happens with American tv shows - I never thought of it like that Alexa ... but you are absolutely right! While U Gun is delicious to look at, I was just so taken by the way he was able to act out his illness... the tremors, the facial expression, his falling down... Same thing with 'drooling guy' on Golden Apple. I would think it's very difficult to portray such illness but they do it so well. ... and then in his 'retarded' state he's just a different person. I will really miss him and hope we'll see him in another drama ... soon. And with U Gun being so young, well his acting teacher must be very proud of him. These parts are acted with such realism. I remember when I saw Sir Min (DJG) in Love Letter... he played such an incredibly different role. That's another reason I love these dramas... we get to see the strengh of everyone's acting skills. Like lovable Grandpa from WML and then nasty business man in Knocked out by Love. Well I've rambled enough now. Good nite everyone.

Well, I finally got to watch the ending, and I agree that it was a pretty good ending, though it glossed over a lot. I still feel that there are so many issues involved with basically giving someone a life through surgery and then taking it away--what that person feels, what's going on inside him, etc. Yes, I know he had a life before and after being smart, and that he was "happier," but it was a very different, smaller life. Also, he was happier because he didn't know a lot about life's pain, and apparently the memory of it went away, too, when he had the second surgery. So it is all a lot more complicated than they imply. I thought it was beautiful, in a way, though, that they had this one person, in his simplicity, touch so many lives and the events surrounding him started a chain of relationships for others. And wow, U Gun is about the cutest and most handsome actor I've seen in a long time. That sweet, eager smile of his is devastating.
