Was I the only one? I had to hold the antenna for the whole hour, even the plug-in antenna, or else Channel 7's The Ten Commandments came in. Weird. I was watching it before and after Hello God, anyway, but sheesh, I want to control my own tv.

Did I miss something? Eunhye says she makes only $3.50 an hour, but she's going to pay her loan shark $200.00 a week. Then she says that's $800 a month, or $24,000 a year. Huh?? None of that adds up. I'm going to have to watch that again on the rerun to see if I heard that right. Anyone else catch that?
Also on the ending of Friday's show when Day was shaking at the podium, it looked like he reverted back to his diabled state of mind with his goofy expression. Than last night at the beginning of the show, they leave that part out and just have him start talking again.
One last thing. If his name is "Day" does that mean "yes"?

No, I didn't think of that-it can't all be dollar-to-won rounding up or something. It should make internal sense, hmm? If she made $3.50 per hour, she might be working long days (not counting all the time she runs out of the cafe) to get to $200/week, tho. (Wonder what the tax rate is.)
Day is named Haru, meaning Day. (I looked it up in my dictionary.)

Huh?? yep the math doesn't add up. $800/month for a year is $9,600. And how much money can she be making? The girl walks out of work whenever she wants, as if she owned the place. If it weren't for the loan sharks, she would've been fired a long time ago. Why are people so mean to Day? I felt so bad for him when he heard those 2 nurses talking about him. Eunhye should've beat the crap out of them when she heard them talking in the elevator. And I also felt bad for Dr. Park. At least now we know why he seems to be so cold and afraid to show any kind of emotions. To be abandoned by your mother at the age of 6 has to be pretty traumatizing. Poor guy. You know we never realized that people are the way they are, for a reason. They aren't born like that, but things happen in life, that turn people into who they are, like Dr. Park.

Alexa ... You might not know this but Korea was very poor country back in 70-80s ... Country is/was overpopulated and many lived poor. Many parents had no choice to adopt away children or abandon them. My heart aches when I see dramas with abandonned children. But I never feel hatred towards parents because they had no choice...

Cyuser, I think the same thing that you.... Why Mrs Ko wanted to abandon his son if she had enough money to keep him? I saw this morning on arirangtv, an other korean channel, some girls who lives in France, who were born in korea but grow up in France and lives with french parents...

Back to the original point of this thread. Yes, I had terrible reception Saturday night. Almost no sound, horizontal lines all the time. I live northwest, around Peterson and Kostner, just beyond Korea Town. I also taped it, but the tape is unviewable, even worse than the live reception. This episode will be on again Tuesday, but I don't know what time. Anybody help here?

You know I was told that it started around 9:15am. When I recorded last Tuesday, it was from 9:00-10:30am, but I didn't get the whole episode, I don't know what happened. I got the beginning but I didn't get the end. So I'm wondering if it went longer then 10:30, I was so confused, and still am. If I have to record a rerun I'd probably start at 8:00am and stop at 11:30, just to be on the safe side.

They change it all the time. Depends what else they drop in there-news, cartoon, VJ news..... It follows Bizarre Bunch, sometimes immediately, sometimes not. So 9:15 to 10:50 should be safe. Or 9:10 til 11:00, anyway.
