Karen, you didn't upset me! All those frowny faces were for the bad reception, not anything anyone wrote in this thread. I fixed the formatting in your post, by the way.

Getting back to the first digression, the funny numbers in Eun-hye's salary by the hour, week, year, and her debt... I saw a bit of a documentary show, about King Chungseong, who went into exile in Tibet. The hostess on the show said he walked 36,600 miles from Korea to Tibet. Now, the circumference of the earth is less than 25,000 miles, so there seems to be something funny about translating numbers from Korean to English.

Perhaps he wanted to check out the other neighborhoods before settling on Tibet.....and boy, if you make a wrong turn on foot, that can totally throw your itinerary out of whack.

LOL, Captain Video, they had a map with his route that was verified by records at the places he stayed, except for one bit where there were 2 alternate ways and no records. It meandered some, being in the mountains and all, but still, 36,600 miles?

Our poor reception started this past week (NW suburb), mostly snowy and fuzzy. Prior to this, reception had been excellent for about 2 & 1/2 months. (I started a thread about the recent poor reception in the General section.) Really hoping this can be corrected soon.
