Well, interest seems to died down a bit on this thread, but at least I am quite pleased that Youngie has finally decided to love Ji Baksa. He seems to be quite a stand up guy.

Yeah, his character is aimiable. He's so friendly. I'm glad that YI gave in to him finally, drunk or not!

The main plot is about Soonie dealing with her illness. With a cheating husband and unsympathetic MIL and SIL,watching it can be quite taxing. Thank God for JiBaksa popping in now and then to remind Youngie of his existence. I like it that he is very sincere and honest about his feelings towards Youngie. And he didn't mind that she is 4 years older than him.And the fact that she had a relationship with a married man. He just loves Youngie for who she is. And he is so cute especially when he smiles. I guess Youngie must have fallen in love with him earlier, but after being locked up in the police station for adultery and having to deal with Soonie's terminal illness, she is just too emotionally exhausted to think about love. So after a few drinks, she starts to loosen up ,and finally accepts Dr Ji. What happens when she sobers up? Keep watching.

He is awfully cute. That smile is adorable. We didn't get to see it very often on "My Precious Child," and it's nice to see it here. As I mentioned before, the aspect of his character that is most endearing to me is his weirdness. He just acts and looks odd sometimes--I don't know how else to put it. I guess you could say he behaves according to his own rules. He's definitely not a typical romantic hero, except that he is so true and steady with Yoonie and so helpful to her sister. I love the way Soonie was treating him as her confidant last week. It was like two girlfriends talking.

I remember I LOL out when he saw that the Married Jerk had managed to get back together with her Sugar Momma wife and had been made a CEO. He kept stepping on their picture that was on the paper. Twice I think he did that. He'd definitely more appealing to me in this drama than he was in MPC. I didn't even give him a second glance back then. But fear not, Luce, GC's heart is only for Yon-yon.

Your loyalty is admirable, GC! That's OK anyway. My love is spread around to any pretty face. I am an inconstant woman as far as crushes go. So you could get in on Baksa if you wanted to. Yeah, he was great when he stepped on that paper. He did it a couple of times, thought about it, then did it again!

Yeah, he was great when he stepped on that paper. He did it a couple of times, thought about it, then did it again! Such a funny scene. He genuinely cares for her and it's so nice to see that she's not totally oblivious to this fact. Oh and how about when she tells him that she was jailed for adultery, I guess she thought that by saying that he'd probably give her a look of disgust and stop bothering her, but his response to that was, "So what?"

I think he teases her a little too much, but maybe that's the way to handle her. Like in Jeju, when they were having breakfast, and he said something about his future children and their mother, and she said something implying she assumed he meant her, and then he teased her about it. Same thing later with how he wanted to get married and asked her how she felt about it, then backtracked and pretended she was being presumptuous in thinking that he wanted to marry her. I'm not partial to that kind of chain-yanking, but again, she's so gunshy that she probably needs to be kept off-balance and not be thinking that he's going to pressure her into a commitment.

When JiBaksa first laid eyes on Youngie in the bar,he must have been attracted to her, enough to start pursueing her.Unfortunately,Youngie had a lot of baggage, and he just could not convince her to accept him. Feeling dejected,he poured out his problems to Sungmoon, who explained to him that the Maeng sisters have a lot of pride.he too had a hard time getting Soonie to accept him.He told Dr Ji is disappear completely. And sure enough,Youngie came to look for him. After this,Dr Ji said to Sungmoon that he now understands that Love needs to have a plan to succeed. So maybe that's his plan--use reverse psychology--in the past he keeps telling Youngie to trust him,now he says things like--Oh,you're not interested in marriage,so I'll be busy going for matchmaking sessions. I think he knows that Youngie loves him,he just have to aggitate her enough ,to put aside her pride and confess her love for him.

I thought the scene in the restaurant was priceless, also. Waitress: "You two must have been married very young, the children are older." To Ji Baksa: "Were you the aggressor?" Ji Baksa: "No, on the contrary, she was the aggressor. I was too young to know any better." It doesn't get much better than that; I almost fell out of the chair laughing during the second airing. ;D
