I'm glad Soonie found out and hit the roof. Soonie really laid out some hard truths, so Young-ie can't ignore them anymore. She was in such sad shape, and took another hit when the creep didn't come to comfort her. Wonder if she'll find out that he's on vacation, not working, with his wife. Hope she breaks up with him soon!

well she finally found out that her man was actually with his wife. What I don't understand is why was she so upset. I mean what did she expect, the man is married. Did she actually believe that he would put her first? And why would she put herself in the position of being the "other woman." Can't she see she deserves someone way better, someone that is going to love her and put her first? I did not feel bad for her at all when she got caught and was in prison. She put herself in that situation and cannot blame anyone but herself. I just hope that she realizes that she deserve way better and that she sees that he is only using her.

. . . What I don't understand is why was she so upset. I mean what did she expect, the man is married. Did she actually believe that he would put her first? I sooo agree with you! I do not understand why a woman would even date a married man ... I don't care how cute he is or whatever. He made a vow to be with another woman and he should either separate from her and divorce or keep his zipper zipped when with other women! And the "other woman" - excuse me but what the heck do you expect? He BELONGS with his wife - not you! Get a clue - you are a trespasser ... leave him alone. Dammit! Maybe if that adultery law was still in effect in this country, the divorce rate would plummet - maybe married people would take their vows a bit more seriously like they used to do years ago - Oh well, it's sure not going to change, is it? There always will be cheaters in one form or another. Those are people who put their own feelings before anyone else's .. including the children of a marriage that are affected by a divorce due to cheating. Shame on them all!

Incidently, Lee Tae ran is my favorite actress - and she is a great actress - I see hope for her character in this story if she sticks to her resolve to break it off cleanly with this jerk.

How sad for poor Youngie, her life is a mess and she finds out that her sister is DYING! I kind of liked her reaction in that it wasn't the typical reaction we get which is only sorrow. Her anger and her confusion made her portrayal real. I think I would be saying "I don't know! I don't know!" over and over too. The one thing that I did feel bad to Soonie about though is that Youngie said "you should have taken better care of yourself"--I mean I know that they think that when they don't eat right and take good care of their bodies this is what happens, but sometimes wacky things like genetics have everything to do with it too. Either way, I'm interested to see what Youngie will do. I can't believe that there is no way she can get out of her business trip! Of course I may be wrong since my tape ran out before I finished watching Saturday's episode.

Too bad you missed it, gc-she goes to a bar, gets tipsy, and meets Jin-kook! (from My Precious Child). They are both alone, and he sees her talking to herself. (This is after she begs the doctor to save her sister. And changes her locks so the creep lover can't use his key.)

I'm glad that she's cutting that loser out of her life. That guy has some nerve, man, you'd think he'd let some time pass. I hope his wife leaves him but first gives him a good beating a la Soonie's dad.

This isn't quite the subject, but rather than starting a new thread I thought I would ask here: when is the repeat airing of the Saturday episode? I was waiting for it this morning and some game show came on. As I write and wait patiently, there is some other drama running without subtitles. Do they not re-air the second episode? One more thing, pardon my ignorance but, Galactic Chick, what is the meaning of the line underneath the picture for your posts (Lob is a peeling. Peeling!)?

In general, re-airings for Friday and Saturday 8 p.m. dramas are the Monday and Tuesday mornings. Usually around 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
As for the second part of your question, see here (Lucy asked before too):
Gal-chk, what in the world is your avatar saying? Does it have something to do with exfoliating?
My response:
That's Bae Doo-na who is the lead actress on Funny Wild Girl, the dorama that replace DJG on AZN. In yesterdays episode she was telling her boss that she didn't like him, that "Lob is a peeling. Peeling" (Love is a feeling. Feeling!) and she can't control who and when she will like someone. I really wish you guys could watch this one, it's such a good show. It makes you laugh, it makes you cry. Nothing but good things to say about this one.

AIGU! AI-U-AI-U!! I went out unexpectedly on Saturday and didn't tape the episode. So I promised myself I would tape the re-airing today. AND I FORGOT!!!
Can anyone help me with a recap? I feel awful. Thanks.

Um, may I make a teeny suggestion, since Lucy brought this up? Maybe it would be better, when someone wants a recap of a particular episode, to ask for it in a new thread? You know, "Please please recap Ep ___ from 1/__" or something like that? That way the thread "Young-ie" does not get hi-jacked, and also, it's easier to find your answers later. Bo PS - I set one up for you, since I'm being officious here: Please recap 1/27 here

Thanks for the information, Galactic Chick. I don't know what happened to today's repeat though.... So, just so I have this straight, the woman that spoke that prophetic line about passion and the human condition uttered those words in English with a heavy accent, or is that how the subtitles were written?

Yeah, I don't know what happened either. I've got an inkling to post a message on the forum for kbctvusa to see and hopefully respond to. The girl that said "Lob is a peeling" said it in a heavy accent. The subtitles below were written correctly "Love is a feeling." Funny Wild Girl was hilarious, Bae Doona is a wonderful and very talented accent. She has this other movie called "Take Care of My Cat" and it's supposed to be really good.

I don't know what to feel about her leaving her sister alone in the hospital. I mean, work is important, but she should've just explained the reasons why she can't go oversees. I felt so bad for Soonie. I'm glad that the mom came though.
