nah she just watches them 24/7 especially on the days that there is no good korean tv. she is so glad i got them. hehe the first night i brought it home, she stayed up until like 5 am watching the dvds and my mom got so mad at her. she should have been resting ;D she's so surprised that so many american and non korean people like djg and that there was a message board. i went to the website with the soundtrack wave files and she started dancing in front of the computer it was so cute

Ah, one of God's most beautiful creatures, Min Jong Ho. I miss watching the soap (especially Min). Too bad I dont have the dvd set or else I'd be like your grandmother and stay up all night watching the whole thing!!!!! Man, if I was fortunate enough to find a man with half of his character I'd be so happy!! I guess a girl can only dream...

You know what, it is amazing how this show has attracted people from so many different backgrounds and nationalities. I myself was born here in Chicago, but my parents are from Mexico. My friends and coworkers don't understand why I like watching Korean soaps. I think if they would just give it a chance they would like them also. Just because of JG, I feel like taking a trip to South Korea now (if I had the money).

it's funny because i met a lady of latin american origin at the store at like 8 one night and she said oh my favourite soap is going to be on channel 28 and i was like, i thought it was korean tv and she got a big kick out of seeing me surprised. i thought that was pretty cool though.
i KNOW people in korea can speak english. why they don't bother with subtitles, i dont know
i email kbs and they don't answer my queries (sods)
can't wait for the yi sun shin drama to start! new older male to admire (for hisloyalty and bravery though not his looks sadly)

My daughter is 1 yrs old and everytime we flip the ch. to 28, her head turns really fast. I think she probably end up learning Korean b/c my sitter also watches Korean dramas and tv. I'll be happy if my daughter learns Korean, b/c then she be multi-lingual: Spanish, English and Korean.

Ah that is so cute. I wouldn't mind learning Korean too. I wonder if there are any schools here in Chicago that teach Korean.

Sounds like I'm not the only one going through "Sir Min Withdrawal".......come to think of it, I'm going through just plain "DJG Withdrawal" altogether.......

Sir Min withdrawal...... yep today is Friday, today I would be watching JG. I think we should start our own support group, you know, have meetings to help us cope with this tragedy of not being able to get a weekly dose of Sir Min..

I've watched Love Letter since beginning of last year and JJH really caught my eyes then. Love his obssession for this girl and the same time quite frustrated too. He looks great as Sir Min and love his coolness as well as his admiring looks for JG - he's truly her guardian angel!

Hi everyone,
I have a question. Hope someone can answer it. What does Sir Min call Jang-geum in the show? It doesn't sound like her name.

In the drama, we could see Sir Min call Jang-geum "Seo" /so/ ! Full name of Jang geum is Seo Jang Geum. The word "Dae" in Korea is "Great". Jang geum can only be "Dae" in the end of this drama. Have funs.
