AoW is soo awesome~ And Ui Bang and Ui Min are soo kool! too bad Mr. bang had to die...he was so powerful!
ANyhow.. i was watching this one korean drama earlier... it was sort of a "ROMEO AND JULIET" korean drama the guy was named TAE-WOONG and the girl was named YON-HO and how their families hated each other and these two loved each other...... well do yhou remember that? that drama made me cry so many times.
and now AoW is makin me cry ......
By the way... KTE just abruptly cut off THE BODYGUARD.... i was deeply saddened by this... THE BODYGUARD was a funny drama... did they stop sending the fed-ex mailed tapes? or was the ratings so low? cuz if it is the ratings... i can get all my famliy members to watch it to bring it back... just wondering.
Thanks for coming to the boards christy!

Hi Kristy, I am a white married to Korean male who loves the work you do. My wife says that sometimes the translation is completely different than what they are actually saying but that it usually covers the jest of the of it. I have enjoyed your translations of the shows which allow me to watch and understand whats going on. I only know a handful of Korean words, usually what my wife and mother-in-law speak around the house, but have actually picked up some others by watching your translations. I only wish that some of the other shows were subtitled in the L.A. area as they also seem like great shows but if you cannot follow the plot line then it just gets boring after a while! I have been hooked on these shows since watching Tears of the Dragon a few years ago and it actually made our trip soon thereafter to Korea more meaningful. Thanks again for all your great work! Kevin

That drama was called "On the Green Prairie" in Chicago, and "Home Sweet Home" in Los Angeles (same drama, but different title translations). As a side note, the actor who played Tae-woong also played the Emperor Wang Guhn in the series of that same name. Well, I know that KTE did complete and subtitle all the episodes. Bodyguard had its normal run in Los Angeles, and I believe that it concluded normally in Chicago (in what city are you watching it)? It did, however have a very abrupt ending. It was a very highly rated show in Korea.
