I'm wondering if anyone has time to fit one more drama into their busy, busy schedules? One episode a week? I have been nosing around and found the following that I would consider modding: Man of Equator - this looks really good, starring the ever so lovely Uhm Tae-woong (QSD's Yushin), with Kim Young-chul as the menacing villain. This show strikes me as a cross between "Lucifer" and "Snow Queen" with, oddly, elements of "Winter Sonata" thrown in. I've watched most of episode one, and it's good so far. 20 episodes. Fashion King - this too is a melodrama, but it seems a bit lighter in feeling to me. The fashion industry is always good for some yucks. Watched half of first ep, liked the setup. 20 episodes Bridal Mask, Time Slip Dr. Jin and Love Forward look good--and Love Forward would certainly be a LOT lighter in tone than the rest of my list--but they're only partially in the paddock and I'd hate for an unlooked-for cessation of the party, so for those I'd wait. So, any thoughts? Don't worry about hurting my feelings. Just putting this out there, so if you're already stretched too thin, please be honest. If you think it's better do wait a bit, that's fine too, it is summer, we probably should be outside playing.

Man of Equator sounds good. No A Gentleman's Dignity?

Already watched a few episodes of "A Gentlemen's Dignity" and I am enjoying it, Man of Equater sounds good, too. Fashion King sounds ok, I would probably watch any of them-- just because I like reading everyone's posts about the differnt shows.

Okay, knov1, the pic is from? LOL... it's awfully cute. Okay, yeah, A Gentleman's Dignity looks good. You know, I'm going to put ALL of these six dramas on the table, even though they are not all fully loaded on Drama Fever. We'll take a chance, then we have a nice choice of light comedy and heavy melodrama. So, what do y'all think about (I'll retype them so you can copy the list): Man of Equator (Dr) Bridal Mask (Dr) Fashion King (Dr) Time Slip Dr. Jin (Dr) Love Forward (RomCom) A Gentleman's Dignity (RomCom) Please advise. I've seen the first couple of episodes of Bridal Mask and it (not to mention Joo Won) is awesome!

It looks a little creepy, though, but so does Man of Equator in that gangster-creepy way.

I'll be giving my thoughts on each drama using screen shots from A Gentleman's Dignity. A Taiwanese drama? A Gentleman's Dignity (RomCom)

Not familiar with the others, but I was most unimpressed with "Fashion King." It starts out light and amusing, but it turns dark and dreary midway through. And it never recovers . . .

Thanks for that Mikey that helps.
Knov1, I "get" all of your photos (are you trying to be adorable?) BUT I was not sure what you meant with Kim Hanuel (is it ue or eu?) / Love Forward until I saw this:
ROFL. I had NO idea. However, does that disqualify? I wonder if others have an opinion?

I borrowed the idea from a guy who used gifs to give his thoughts on the NFL draft. I thought gifs would bog down the thread so I used screen shots. ...Timeslip Dr Jin id kind of like to see because i have such a bias for the Japanese Version i may need curing . Like a ham? I know how you actors are. (Don't start telling me you're not an actor because I really don't have the first idea what you do. BTW, are you an actor? If so, do you know John Malkovich? I'd like to meet John Malkovich. Or no, how about Meryl Streep. Yeah, Meryl, do you know her?) Timeslip Dr Jin seems like it has its charms. But look at Knov1's reaction! They look like they've seen cockroach! In their fruit punch! Eugh! Who wants that? LOL...

DYC! You stinker. You TRASH Dr. Jin in the Rooftop Prince module! I'm taking it off my list. LOL. Okay, so I'm thinking we're down to Man of Equator and A Gentleman's Dignity, based partly on Knov1's recommendations and also on what people have said about Dr. Jin. As for Love Forward, maybe I'll just watch that one on my own. Since it's from Taiwan. I was a little iffy about Fashion King anyway. Here's the voting thread: (please participate)

Nope not an actor ..did consider it once though and nope never met Meryl Malkovich or John Streep or boy did i upset the applecart over poor ol Doc Jin a pointless remake because the original is hard to beat (ouch did it again but it was fun ) Still Bo do not let my negative viewpoint hold you back from a time trip with Dr Jin may even be quite the tonic .or a lemon maybe after a few eps you can put it on ice . Oh well off to vote .
