What happened to Jindeok (in Ep 52)? There she was in one scene and it seemed like in the next, ChunChu was being crowned king.

What happened to Jindeok (in Ep 52)? There she was in one scene and it seemed like in the next, ChunChu was being crowned king. truth is right. Supposing viewers are all understood, they skip that scene and instantly move to Chunchu's coronation to be crowned as king. Truth, also in 52, Chunchu comes to visit a tomb, whose tomb is it?

Episode 53
It looks like they are short on money. No Imja or Eungo in this drama.
I don't like how Kim Chunchu says Shilla looks pro-Tang in the inside but it is actually anti-Tang in the inside and that Goguryo looks anti-Tang in the outside but its actually pro-Tang in the inside because Goguryo brought Taoism from Tang and Goguryo handed over a map of Goguryo to Tang. First of all, YGSM brought Taoism to prevent Buddhist monks from having too much political power and the diplomat who was sent to Tang to request Taoist teachers actually spied on Tang's military and reported Tangs military secrets to YGSM. Giving the map thing doesn't count on YGSm's regime because it was King Young Ryu who handed over Goguryos map to Tang and YGSM killed him for doing that.
I also don't like how Shilla loses their territories on purpose to Baekje in order to get Uija off guard. If Shilla had such capability, they wouldn't have asked for Tang's help. Shilla was very desperate at the time, because they were at the brink of getting completely destroyed if Baekje and Goguryo continued to attack Shilla. But there is no sign of desperateness in Shilla od this drama. The strong Shilla in drama doesn't convince me why Shilla needed Tangs help.
Two characters from God of War are now in this drama. Gannan is now Gyebaek's wife and Kim Kyung Son is now Do Choong.

Episode 54
They followed history for the most part on this episode, but here are four things I don't like again.
1. I hate how Kim Chunchu keeps saying he wants to unify three kingdoms to end wars and bring peace. Bullcrap. He got in the war with Baekje for 2 reasons : First, he felt threatened by Baekje and Goguryo's superior military power. Second, he needed to avenge his daughter. Kim Chunchu made Uija pour alcohol for him after capturing Uija in real history, but judging by his saintly character in this drama, I'm guessing the Tang general Xiao Dingfang will make Uija pour alcohol for him and Kim Chunchu will stop that, hold Uija's hands, and say some stupid stuff like "Stand up, Uija. You were a great king. Don't worry about your people, I will take care of them."
2. Gyebaek lets Kim Yushin know about where they will have their battle as if this is some western movie in order to "lure" Kim Yushin to Hwangsanbul, which is right outside of Baekje's capital Sabi. Baekje places no army outside of Hwangsanbul, which was really stupid of the writer. What kind of country basically clears path for the enemies to march right into the capital city? It just doesn't make any sense and Gyebaek kills his family after "luring" Kim Yushin to Hwangsanbul. That makes Gyebaek look like some kind of psychopath. Here's a historical lesson for the writer : Gyebaek was banished at the time, because Uija didn't like him. When Shilla defeated every Baekje army on the way and Hwangsanbul was the last place left before Sabi, Uija finally called Gyebaek back. Gyebaek, however, knew Baekje stood no chance against the Shilla-Tang alliance. He knew his family would be enslaved by Shillans, which was why he killed his family.
3. Where is Empress Wu Zetian? Emperor Gaozong was just a puppet. Wu Zetian was the real ruler. (Remember how it was in KBS Dae Jo Young?). Wu Zetian is nowhere to be seen in this drama and Gaozong is ruling as the absolute ruler of Tang.
4. This doesn't anger me as much as the first three, but King Muyeol(Kim Chunchu) is dressed up Shilla style. He should actually be dressed Tang style at this point of Shilla history(similar to Koryo emperors in Age of Warriors and Iron Empress).

I missed this somewhere in the historical notes but Truth what happened to Chunchu's daughter ?. She was killed by Uija's army. Her death was shown in SBS Yeon Gaesomoon, MBC Gyebaek, and of course in this drama. The difference between this drama and the other two is that the St. Chunchu of this drama already forgave Uija while the other two Chunchus were angry for revenge as written in historical accounts. Also, Kim Chunchu's son-in-law is said to have been a tyrant governor as shown in SBS YGSM and MBC Gyebaek, but this drama of course shows him as a hero.

Episode 55
I have 2 things to say about this episode.
1. Gyebaek kills his family only to go drinking with Kim Yushin in the middle of the war. WTF? There is something seriously wrong with the writer.
2. Why does YGSM look more like the good guy than the main character Chunchu?

Gyebaek kills his family only to go drinking with Kim Yushin in the middle of the war. WTF? Maybe his wife wouldn't give him his beer money. Really that is just so awful I should be very angry about it...but it's just so stupid, it's hilarious and I keep laughing and laughing. What else can you do.

Poor Gyebaek (the real one). Killing his family is almost the only thing known about him, and yet the writers of these shows still have not found a plausible way to tell that story.

Episode 56
4 things about this episode
1. Baekje Prince shoots Kim Yushin's chest with arrow. Gyebaek scolds him for doing so, apologizes to Kim Yushin, and even gives him a herbal medicine to drink. That's it. I will never watch a drama written by Yu Dong Yoon(writer of Great King's Dream) again.
2. Again, Chunchu. Please stop saying you started the war to end wars and bring peace to three kingdoms. If you wanted peace, you wouldn't have started a damn war in the first place. What is wrong with the writer's head? I know Chunchu is supposed to be the main character but none of the stuff he says make any sense and YGSM and Gyebaek look more like the good guys than Chunchu in this drama no matter how much they try to justify Chunchu's actions as some heroic deed for the good of all three kingdoms.
3. Buyeo Tae kills innocent Baekje citizens, which he did not in actual history. The writer is trying his best to make Baekje look like the bad guy.
4. The writer is also trying to make many of the characters resemble characters from Romance of Three Kingdoms.
Examples :
Kim Chunchu=Liu Fei (Both are saints)
Kim Yushin=Guan Yu (Blood brothers. Both get shot in the arrow and both are treated by doctors without moaning)
Kim Heumsoon=Zhang Fei (Both have fiery temperament)
Bidam=Lu Bu (Both are extremely good at fighting. Similar relationship between Chunchu and Liu Fei. Similar temperament)
Yeonhwa=Diaochen (Both seduce Bidam and Lu Bu for the good of oppositions)
Kang Soo=Pang Tong (Both are ignored by Bidam and Cao Cao for their ugliness, but Chunchu and Liu Fei realize their true capabilities)
Gyebaek=Pang De (Both revere Kim Yushin and Guan Yu although they are enemies, but their loyalties are towards Uija and Cao Cao)
This is not the first time a sageuk tried to imitate Romance of Three Kingdoms. When will those sageuks stop imitating Romance of Three Kingdoms? Emperor Wang Guhn and Dae Jo Young have way more RTK imitations by the way, but I'm not gonna get into that on this thread. I just hope Gyebaek doesn't carry a casket with him before his final battle against Kim Yushin like Pang De did against Guan Yu.

Just shows how narrow minded the people woorking on this are.
EWG is more justified, because it has alot of similarities with hat era.
