Does anyone know the brand or model number of that cool looking cell phone that Dr. Park uses in episode 6?
Also, why did Dr. Park intentionally invite Day to that restaurant when Dr. Park had already planned to make a move (an insincere one at that...) on Euhnye???

Are you talking about when he met Eunhye when she came to the hospital after she have bought many clothes, with Day?

Maybe because he was watching Day kissing Eun-hye and wanted to discourage him. Pretty cold-hearted of him, especially since he saw all the papers on Day's wall with suggestions for winning her.
What a pill-I'll let you love me. Don't expect me to love you back, but I'll allow you to care about me. (I can't think of anything to say about him that's allowable here.)

Dr Park intentionally invited Day to that the restaurant when he planned to see Eunhye at the same place because he wanted to tell her about his feelings for her, and said to Day to come, because he wanted to kiss her in front of him, to show his power, to make him remember that Day "worthless" (that what Day said too in the ep).... do you remember he said at the beginning of this ep "I'm your God", and remember in ep5, Day was very sad because he knows that is nothing because he don't have "power" and a work.... all that Dr Park have......

Does anyone know the brand or model number of that cool looking cell phone that Dr. Park uses in episode 6? That cell phone is most likely Anycall (Samsung) found only in Korea (and other Asian countries?...Not sure about that one). *sigh* They have the coolest phones! I wish we could get those phones over here in the States. Anyhow, the link to their webpage is below. It's a link to a photo of the cell phone that I think Dr. Park uses. Click here to see Anycall's SCH.B300 They have other models that are also similar. I didn't provide a link to those, but you can just browse through their website.

Are you talking about when he met Eunhye when she came to the hospital after she have bought many clothes, with Day? No - this was towards the very end of epi 6 - after Eunhye had moved out and after Day upset Dr. Park by speaking in front of the press and after Day so eloquently told Dr. Park that Dr. Park does not own him. I guess as someone else on this board has noted, Dr. Park realized that he was going to have to pull out all the stops to let Day know that Dr. Park may not be God but he is "da man". . . It just seemed really cruel the way that Dr. Park peered out at Day and then closed his eyes and continued kissing Eunhye. I felt so sorry for Day.

I am sooooo jealous that these phones are not available in the USA.

I felt so sorry for Day. that man is such a jerk I felt sorry for Day also, as he just looked at them kissing, and Eunhye has a problem with just letting people kiss her and not pushing them away. whats up with that? The only reason Dr. Park wants her back at the house, is because she is the only one that can get Day to cooperate again. Yeah he might have some sort of feelings for her, but at this point he is just using her. He aggravates me so much!!!! Especially when he told Day that he "was God." It is getting to his head, and Day was right he was a human being before. The fact that his IQ was low doesn't make him any less of a human!!!! ON a lighter note ;D, I liked how the thugs threatened that one man into giving Eunhye the job. Too funny..

Does anyone know the brand or model number of that cool looking cell phone that Dr. Park uses in episode 6? Yeah, that is a pretty cool looking phone, I don't know if you've seen "I'm Sorry, I Love You" but So Ji-Sub's character had a really cool looking phone too, on the outside, it looks like a digital camera...well, it pretty much is a digital camera, complete with zooming lens. ON a lighter note ;D, I liked how the thugs threatened that one man into giving Eunhye the job. Too funny.. Yeah, I actually like him and his flunkies, I never saw the entire thing of the first episode, so I missed him, but I remember how threatning he seemed when he caught up to Eun-Hye at the Hospital Owner's party (still don't know her name) and having his guys hold her over the edge of the building...I think he's starting to develope and thing for Eun-Hye. ;D

I love that ex-doctor guy--Pilsoong? Something like that. He asked Park the perfect question: Why did you operate on Day? It says volumes that Park didn't even understand the question. The true answer, IMO, is that he did it only for his self-aggrandizement. It had nothing to do with helping people. He doesn't see them as people anyway. He thinks anyone of low intelligence is not human, and that in improving Day's intelligence, he recreated Day as a human being, like God touching Adam's finger on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel. So anyway, the fact that he couldn't imagine what his former mentor could have meant shows the complete moral void in Dr. Park.

Lucy, your comment reminds me of Jurassic Park, where they recreated dinosaurs just because they could and not because it was a worthwhile endeavor. In both situations it was exciting for the scientists and could make money for the investors. Jurassic Park at least had a lawyer to advise them of the risks. This hospital deliberately chose a boy with no family to protest any bad results.
Jurassic Park called in Jeff Goldblum's character too late-he would have stopped them. The hospital doesn't seem to employ an ethicist.

I'm hoping that by the end of the drama Dr. Park does redeem himself and that he becomes a human being.

Yeah, and then we'll all be expected to forgive him, as usual.

Thanks, Sushimi. I think I was thinking of another K-drama title that we did not see here: "Oh! Pilsoong _______" something-or-other.
