Recalling the discussion of Doctor Ahn of Balbamok, maybe you could be doubly lucky and find a veternary podiatrist

How could we have forgotten him? Feeling any foot pains, Lucy?

You guys are funny. I wasn't really among the Dr. Ahn fans, though. I mean, he's nice looking and all but he's no Jin-kook. But a veterinary podiatrist would be such cute thing. Imagine him examining and working on those tiny little cat feet!

Wow, gal-ck, you are full of ideas! I am not nearly so proactive, which is probably why I'm single. Too bad my ideas are sometimes too wacky to work, which is why I am in the same predicament. Let's go to that Asian Film festival together so we can do some hot-guy man huntin'. I'd invite hachiue but I think she's spoken for, so is Bo, and Alexa is MIA in the modern drama section. Oh wait, what's Jenny's marital status?

Hey, who says that just because I'm spoken for I can't go man-huntin'? Besides, the actual wedding isn't for months.

Hey, who says that just because I'm spoken for I can't go man-huntin'? Besides, the actual wedding isn't for months. That's the spirit! Have you started preparations, like your dress and all that good stuff? Maybe you can post a picture when you do end up getting married and if you don't want us to see your face, just put a HK sticker on top of your face. I'm one of those "always a bridesmaid never a bride" type, ie and I kid you not, I stood up in three weddings last year, and it was going to be four except the couple ended up not getting married.

The one I had in mind, though, might draw more women than men. But still, I'd be too shy to flirt with anyone anyway. I don't think Jenny is married but she might have a bf. OTOH, as Hachiue points out, that's no disqualification! Taking the infinitesimal risk that this person reads these boards and would recognize himself, there is a young Asian man who often takes my bus and is *so* nice-looking--he reminds me of Jin-kook or maybe the middle brother on WML. He only takes the bus a short distance, though. Plus, I am way too old for him.

I'm one of those "always a bridesmaid never a bride" type, ie and I kid you not, I stood up in three weddings last year, and it was going to be four except the couple ended up not getting married. I've made a good start on prep work. I actually just mailed out the invites so I've only got 8 weeks to go! So I should post pictures but paste the HK mask/sticker over my head? Hmm that's an interesting idea. Or I could photoshop the pics and switch around all the heads of the people in the bridal party (accidentally substituting all the guys for cute k-drama men). That's sad that the fourth couple didn't end up getting married! You missed out on a bachelorette party.... Although I suppose you could've had one of those anyway.

Although I suppose you could've had one of those [bachelorette party] anyway. I heard she has them all the time! With fingers stuck together with hem glue and HK flasks and everything! I didn't know you were getting married, hachuie. Congratulations. Bo

Yes, sad...although to be mean, I was kind of relieved. The bride was picking out a $400 dress and wanted us to all get our hair & make up done at the same place (hello--we're talking at least $150). Bachelorette parties are overrated, IMO. For all three they were just sit down dinners with a little dancing. Which would be good except most of the attendees are female and WHO ARE YOU GOING TO DANCE WITH? Let's just say the flask helped me out a little... ;D

Oh wait, what's Jenny's marital status? Single! And man-huntin' is my favorite sport. Ooh, Lucy's bus guy sounds GAW-geous! A Jin-kook/middle bro combo means he's the prettiest boy in Chicago. And I likes purdy Asian boys. Congrats, Hachiue! Will you have a HK/Dear Daniel cake topper? In Sanrio's "Touch of Happy Moment" photo contest, a few couples entered pics from their HK weddings. It was mostly just couples holding HK/DD plushes. -- Jenny

Maybe she's more of a Keroppi and Keroleen (sp?) cake topper gal.

Hm, if I had a HK/Keroppi cake topper I think that many many family members would have a fit. The thought of that will probably pop up at some inopportune time and I'll laugh during the ceremony or something.
Gal-ck, you must have been to some boring bachelorette parties! I'm fully expecting club hopping and my moh is trying to convince me to go to some strip clubs, though I'm not too sure about that. The last b-party that I witnessed (strangers, I was just passing by) was in the french quarter of new orleans where a gaggle of (underage looking) girls ran around with balloon-guythingy hats and feather boas, drinking out of guythingy straws, and kissing all the guy(thingies) they could find.
(I let the pending marriage slip a while ago on the general/HK thread, Bo.)
And thank you for all of your congratulations!

I have been to boring parties, in fact I've never once been to one where there has been a stripper (Mother would just never allow it). She would have probably had a heart attack, fainted, had another heart attack and then go on and on about the debachery consuming today's youth. kbc28's biggest prude
