EOR just means "episode on request." Originally the whole idea of their e-store was to sell individual episodes, because KBS would always get calls from people saying that they missed an episode and can they buy a copy. So if you go to the EOR part of the site you can buy individual episodes of current series. But they also decided to offer package deals if you want to buy all of the episodes together. So you can get all 104 IYSS episodes plus the two specials for a discounted price. That's different from what's on the "DVD List" part of their site.
duu, I don't know if the full set still has any problems but we're going to find out because I'll be buying mine in the next month or two. Also, kathleen now has a set so if she's dived into it at all (I don't know if she has or not) then hopefully she'll update us.

Did I mention you can get these on Amazon? I think I have, probably ad nauseum. $1.99 per episode.

As far as I know ,if you order from Amazon, you download it to your computer (with the option to buy or just view for a specified amount of time). Now it's up to you if you want to watch on your computer, but I prefer at least a 32 in. or bigger screen. ;D

Yes, the Amazon offering is a download service, not actual DVDs. You download episodes individually and watch them on your computer, and supposedly there are some portable video gadgets that the files are also compatible with. But it's not the same thing as the DVDs that KBS is offering, and I don't think you can make your own DVDs from the Amazon files. The Amazon option works out to about half the cost, but as far as purchasing an entire series it doesn't sound like a very good deal at all. It may work well for single episodes, though (has anybody tried it?).

I think I like the EOR option a little better based upon the information that you folks have provided me with.

Yeah, I'm going with Winnie the Pooh as opposed to Yi Soon Shin.
Who do you think wins that one?
Lol

I don't know if anyone reads this board anymore, but Bo, I have to thank you for repeating yourself over and over again. I just got on Amazon and I love the fact that I can get the episodes now in their entirety as opposed to the chopped down version I bought on DVD.
Good to see you all online again!

Good to see you, too, VIB! Even though we never managed to actually "see" each other in person, LOL...I think that's my fault.
I hope you are happy and well.

velvet—definitely read through this entire thread, because there’s a difference between (a) what’s available on Amazon, (b) the edited-down set you purchased, and (c) the complete unedited series available from KBS America in DVD form. Some of the posts here explain it. While I haven’t tried it, the (a) option doesn’t appear to be as good as the (c) option.

I totally agree that option (c), the complete unedited series(EOR) is the best bet. That is the set I have and I am extremely pleased.

the only dvd's i see for sale are the cut down version of 33 episodes which i already have. i haven't seen a full 106 episode version of IYSS on DVD. but i liked the full series minus episodes 5-24 better than the edited version.

velvet inkbrush of YSS, Go on kbs-america's website and click on EOR(episode on request), located on the lower left hand side of the page. That takes you to the next page, then click on EOR that is in the blue bar across the top of the page. That will take you to the page that shows entire series for sale. Scroll down a little and IYSS is shown on the right. You can buy separate eps for $6 a piece or the entire set that comes with the bonus DVDs. Good luck!
