2) Am I the only one who thinks that the deep, abiding friendship between Minister Ryu Seong-ryong and Poet/concubine Chung-hyang has slipped over the edge, into, maybe even...dare I say it... love (the romantic kind)? I hope so. I want them to hook up already. It seems like the woman has a deep respect and love for Minister Ryu (or is it Yu?) and vice-versa, but neither of them say anything. Is she his concubine though? so is he married? |

Is she his concubine though? so is he married? It is Ryu or Yu. I don't recall them mentioning whether he was married, and they don't show a wife, so maybe he's not. But wasn't everyone? She seems to belong to that other minister, the one who keeps telling off Chun-su (he had some maps for Minister Ryu, too, remember when they were trying to get info on Japan?), but she seems to have more of a connection with Ryu and she seems to be free to do whatever she likes. She seems to belong to that other minister, the one who keeps telling off Chun-su (he had some maps for Minister Ryu, too, remember when they were trying to get info on Japan?), but she seems to have more of a connection with Ryu and she seems to be free to do whatever she likes. I dont remember who that other minister is, but I always assumed she wasn't really anybody's concubine, cause she does seem to do whatever she wants. She has to like Minister Yu though, she is always at his side, always giving him advice, helping him. And I like him alot too, so I want to see him end up with someone and be happy  |

Minister Ryu is a friend of Chung-hyang's bosom. I think they do not love each other.  I'm not gonna tell you who Chung-hyang is going to love, because it can be a spoiler. I'm jealous of Chunghyang because the man she loves is one of my favorite characters.  |
