Okay, who does Commander Won think he is? He is so arrogant!! How dare he go up to YSS, and tell him, "okay I'll take it from here, " after taking his ships over to YSS. And I could not believe he told YSS that he was actually in the Right Navy's jurisdiction. Aren't him and YSS equal in rank? are we finally going to see some fighting today?

Was last night 61? I don't know why you guys keep saying, "are we finally going to see some fighting" when I've been seeing it all along. I just watched the battle between Shin Lip and Konishi, and it looked pretty exciting.
Won is pretty arrogant altogether, but they all are. They all seem to think they're "the only one" who can win against the enemy. What was that Admiral YSS's second in command said? Even if you get the men to do what you want, we'll lose, because there's only one commander in the Chosun navy. They gotta get together and cooperate, but they just won't.

If the episode ended with this picture, it was ep. 60. The next episode is, finally, the battle of Okpo. Yi Sun-shin and Won Kyun are equal in their rank. (Both of them are called "Susa" which means "Admiral") In fact, Won Kyun's Right Kyeongsang Navy was far bigger than the YSS's Left Cholla Navy in the number of soldiers and ships. You can see WK showing off his navy before YSS in ep. 51. However, after the war broke out, WK has now just three Panoksons(big warship) because he scuttled his own ships to prevent the enemy from using them. In addition, Left Kyeongsang Navy (led by Park Hong) fled away and WK's Right Kyeongsang navy was not competent enough for fighting alone. So, YSS's Left Cholla Navy was sent to the Dangpo port in Kyeongsang province to unite with the WK's navy. The port of Danpo and Okpo are inside WK's jurisdiction. On the authority of that, WK wants himself to be the chief admiral of the united navy. Meanwhile, the men under YSS's command take it granted for their boss to be the chief because they have more soldiers and ships. The different views of the two navies on the situation will cause many troubles in the future.

Awesome picture Choko. I can't wait to see the battle of Okpo.
YSS and Commander Won need to unite and work together in order to defeat the Japanese. But Commander Won seems to be blinded by pride.

What a great effect! YSS will certainly have his hands full with Won Kyun. Thanks Choko for the fantastic pic and background info!

That was a cool effect watching behind the cannon ball as it sped toward a ship. It will make this week longer waiting for Monday. I have never looked forward to a Monday before I started watching these dramas (since our historical ones are on Mon-Tues).
