Since Episode 12 is airing tonight (11/20) and there are only 2 more episodes left, just thought I'd ask if anyone knows what is due up next. Also, will it be modern-day or historical? I did enjoy Damo, but I'm anticipating the usual Fri./Sat. night KBC-TV attachment/separation anxiety setting in which always occurs after a good drama ends!

It's supposed to be another historical drama called 'Huh Joon'. I'll call KBC to double check.

To bad it was only 14 episodes long. I thought the drama was really good, it kept me hooked, wanting to know what was going to happen next. And I am definetely going to miss Mr. Rebel, SungBaek!

I believe that's correct. I called KBC earlier today and was told Winter Love Song would be coming in for Jang Hee Bin. I guess the person I spoke to had the wrong info.
Winter Love Song is one of my favorite dramas but this is rather disappointing. KBC already gave it and with subtitles at that. I would prefer if they aired a new drama (there's plenty to choose from). They could also give an old that drama that was never aired here before (again, plenty to choose from) or if they want to re-air a drama, how about one that was aired without subtitles originally but with subtitles this time around.
Now, I'm wondering what's coming in for Jang Hee Bin.

Knov1, I don't quite know what you're trying to say here. Are you saying WS is coming in instead of Jang Hee Bin (which I assume is a show)? Anywho, I completely agree with your comments. I would not mind seeing WS again, but it would be nicer to see something new or unseen-before-with-subtitling. Bo

Bo Jang Hee Bin is the historical drama that KBC is currently airing on Wednesday's & Thursday's in the morning. I believe the final episode will air on Dec. 1. If KBC needs help picking what dramas to air, I'd gladly help them out by providing my input or any info I have on the current dramas that are airing or have recently aired in Korea. And personally, if It'll help to improve the quality of the programming, I'd gladly do it for free.

I don't know if it's related to that article but that's an interesting article actually. I still don't understand why KBC would want to re-air Winter Love Song though. We don't get many subtitled dramas so why not air something new? Or if they wanted to give Winter Love Song again, why not air it on Wednesday's & Thursday's at 8pm? KBC could've then given MBC Ode to the Han River on Friday's & Saturday's and with subtitles. That would've been better.

That's a great article, Choko. It makes me sad, though, that the attitudes to the real, live Koreans who are living in Japan does not seem to be changing. I guess the fantasy is more appealing than reality. It is interesting that Korean culture has become a hot property in Japan, much as US culture has been in the past. Also, this quote caught my eye: "We're so close on the map, and there are similar words in Korean and Japanese," said Udagawa, the matchmaker customer. "If we get used to one another, I'm sure we can be friends." That is just sad, that such a thing has not been obvious to them. Hopefully, this attitude will spread.

Wait, I would like clarification here. So, Winter Love Song/Sonata will be aired with subtitles on Wednesday and Thursday mornings starting December 2 (or December 8)?
Or will it be aired without subtitles, or at a different time, or a different show completely?
I haven't seen it before, so I'm excited to watch it if it's indeed on! And I'm biased - I tend to like the more modern dramas rather than the historical ones (Damo's an exception).

When was WLS first aired on KBC? I didn't get to see it, so it's new to me. I've only read about it, it seems good; I'm with you hachiue, I also tend to like modern dramas more.

Winter Love Song was aired back in 2002. It will be given in Damo's timeslot starting Dec. 3. Sorry for the confusion.
