Winter Love Song is one of my favorite dramas but this is rather disappointing. KBC already gave it and with subtitles at that. I would prefer if they aired a new drama (there's plenty to choose from). They could also give an old that drama that was never aired here before (again, plenty to choose from)
I totally agree with you. This is a old drama and I guess everyone watched already. Personally, I do not want to watch again if I already saw it.

Heeeeeeee. i think I do the Quote thing wrong. Could someone teach me. At the top of every post is "quote" "modify" and "delete". (You can only modify or delete your own post, and only if you are a member, unless you are a moderator.) To "quote" someone, click that icon, and it will show up in your "post message". You can also edit it then, to reply to specific things, but be sure not to take out any of the following characters: (1) in the beginning, " [ quote ]"; and (2) at the end " [ / quote ]", or you'lll mess it up (you can always put them back in). What is Winter Love Song about? It's kind of hard to say without giving the whole thing away, but basically, it's about two kids who fall in love and lose each other because one dies, and what happens years later. That's all I'll say. (Please, people, control yourselves. Part of the joy of this particular drama is the constant surprise factor.) Anyway, go to Korean.wiz to find a short synopsis; she also has a link to a wonderful website about the drama that talks about every episode. Bo

Winter Love Song was aired back in 2002. It will be given in Damo's timeslot starting Dec. 3. Sorry for the confusion. 'Sokay. Confusion was due to my hurried reading of the posts anyway. This is great! Now I'm not as worried about Damo ending. I kept seeing Winter Sonata DVDs available for purchase and wondering if I should buy them but now I don't have to. (Now they should show love letter ...)

Since I haven't seen it before, I'll be sure to watch "Winter Love Song". I always enjoy the surprises and twists that go along with the passage of time in so many of the dramas shown.

And Winter Love Song (a/k/a Winter Sonata) is especially twisty and turny. And frankly, a little bizarre. You'll like it. Bo

Is there any sort of non-spoiler synopsis for this? I heard on this board that a synopsis couldn't really be given because the surprises were part of it but my fiance keeps bugging me to tell him what it's about. All I've said so far is it's a modern drama. He wants something like "It's a period drama about a female police detective in Joseun."

There is a fast forward near the begining, so it isn't about kids. I missed a lot of these episodes so I don't know much. I hope that isn't a spoiler! (I don't know how pure you wanna be going into this drama)

A "nonspoiler" synopsis: It's about love, lost and found, failing to conquer and conquering all. It's about family. It's about growing up and not knowing who you really are, and then what happens when you find out, and then everything turns upside down in another way. It's about betrayal and selfishness, and it's about faith and hope and giving up of the self. It's about pride in work well done. It's about mothers and sons, and fathers and sons, and daughters and mothers and sisters. It's a beautiful thing. If your boyfriend is so very hot to know what it's ABOUT, there's a website link below, where you can learn EVERY SINGLE DETAIL. (You probably should not post those here because you'll really ruin it for everyone else.) You'll enjoy the drama more if you don't let him tell you what's on the website, but it's nice to read after you've seen the whole show. jiwoofriends.com/wls.htmlBo

Wow, that was a good synopsis, Bo. I have dutifully emailed it to him, along with the link. Now he will have the drop on me and make evil foreshadowing comments all though the drama.
