Okay so I'm watching episode 6, and the rebel is remembering when his sister fell off the horse and starts talking about how he knows she is still alive. So him and Chae-ok are brother and sister right? MAN I knew it, I knew they were related. I think someone else had mentioned that they also thought they were brother and sister. But isn't he falling in love with her? I mean he knows that she is not a boy but a female. Because he told her "whatever the reasons are for you being here it doesn't matter, put your past behind you." (something like that). So what now, he's in love with his own sister?

They are siblings. They don't know the truth. (Both of them changed their real names into Sung-baek and Chae-ok respectively.) They just think they are enemies---rebel vs police That is so sad. They are falling in love with each other and they are brother and sister! How can this be!!! See that's why I tell myself I shouldn't be watching tv shows. I get attached to the characters. I keep thinking about how horrible it is going to be when they find out that they are related. Choko, thanks for the pictures.

Bwahaha! This is even better than a love triangle! Don't worry, they'll find out before they do anything reprehensible. I hope that she doesn't end up killing him and joins his rebel cause. But that wouldn't be *right* so it probably won't happen.

I mean, in the first episode both of them are fighting, remember? I'm so anxious to know if one of them dies. But that is so sad, they are brother and sister. I can't take the suspense. I feel horrible that he is falling in love with her. His kind of like Robin Hood. I mean didn't he go help those poor girls that were being sold into prostitution? He's not a bad guy.

I am completely grossed out by this brother/sister thing! How long ago were they seperated? I think I would be able to recognize my brother in 10 years. My brother looks like he did 10 years ago, minus the bowl haircut. Even with a beard I could spot him. Maybe I'm just familyphobic (familyphobia: fear of falling in love with a long lost relative), but if I had a long lost male family member I'd set up some ground rules for my boyfriend screening process. Like not dating any guy the same age as the family member. Or staying away from anyone who has the family schnoz.
This whole time I've been watching these two, thinking they were drawn to eachother by family ties. I'm so naive!

I don't think he's a bad guy at all. Does anyone know anything about the Emperor that said that her dad was treasonous? Maybe if the Emperor is generally regarded to be a bad guy then her family could actually be the *good* guys. That means that everything could turn out fine for them in the end. I like him. And, no, it's not entirely because he's a cutie.

But maybe he likes her because she reminds him of his sister. (which in fact she is his sister) I have to keep watching to see what is going to happen.

It would be kinda hard to tell whether he thinks of her as his sister or gf material since he hasn't grabbed her and kissed her - not that he would in any case.
Who was the other woman that accompanied him? Their mom? (Creepy)

Yep that's true. At first I was thinking he was falling in love with her, but he hasn't actually said or done anything that says so. Hmm, he might have feelings for her, but it doesn't necessarily mean he loves her. What other woman?

The one that was with him but, I think, was killed in the prison escape. In his first appearances on the boat and in the town, she was with him.

I have no idea. Probably just a friend, someone that was a follower of his. She was hurt badly but they didn't show if she died.

Chaek Ok and Sung Baek have been separated for 16 years. The last time Sung Baek saw his sister she was only 7. Chae Ok is now 23. Sung Baek is 30. I seriously doubt they'd recognize each other.

How common is their last name in Korea? Because they didn't change that, right? They might be able to figure it out from that, unless it's a common name.
