Her whole denial that anything might even APPEAR to be improper, even to the extent of mouthing off to Harmoni, seems to be quite inconsiderate of her husband. And her dad isn't helping matters either. Why doesn't he dump that barmaid and date Band-aid himself? Sheesh! And today, when they came by the store, but left because she wasn't there . . . it sure looks like there's gonna going to be trouble. And that's good

Again, please forgive me for my mispellings. Jaemin is jealous of his wife's relationship with Bang-dae. I can't blame him. Jae-hae is young, but she does seem careless about her husband's feelings. To make matters worse, Jae-hae's father, Min-sup, is welcoming Bang-dae and his friend into his home, even spending time in the bar with them. There doesn't seem to be much of a relationship between Min-sup and his son-in-law who seems to be a gentle person. Jae-hae's mother, an educated professional, and Min-sup's old mother see trouble brewing. This is coming right after Jae-hae suffered a miscarriage, so Jaemin must wonder how his wife can be so condoning about Bang-dae visiting her so often. Jae-hae needs to tell Bang-dae that he is no longer welcome in her parent's home.

You know, this whole thing really is band-aid's fault. Ji-hae is being a dolt by not recognizing it, and by mouthing off to grandma (so rude!), and for calling Jae-min narrow-minded, etc.
The funny part is that it seems to me that everyone on the show thinks band-aid is the weird one (his friend is marginally more polite) and all Ji-hae has to do is jump on the band-aid hating wagon and she would be fine. She could still hang out with him; she would just have to let him know that he needs to act considerately when he's around her.
I was actually worried that they were going to go into the store and beat Jae-min up since Ji-hae wasn't there. Whew! I'm worried, though, about what will happen to Ji-hae, because both of the stalkers seem unbalanced, and she's just not being smart about it.

What made me laugh is when they brought Golfing Dad a bowl of water like a dog, he took a sip, and then he suddenly and nonchalantly flung the rest in Mr. Park's face. The timing was hilarious.

Yes, a bowl??
Oh, but you missed the best part, Lucy!
Sip, toss, "That water tastes good!", walk away

Yes, I did remember that comment, but I couldn't remember the sequence. I thought he said it tasted good, then tossed it. Anyway, it was funny!

That was a liquid bit*h slap! I had to cheer out loud for Golf dad after that! I was actually worried that they were going to go into the store and beat Jae-min up since Ji-hae wasn't there. Whew! I'm worried, though, about what will happen to Ji-hae, because both of the stalkers seem unbalanced, and she's just not being smart about it. I was worried about Jae-min, too. Come to think about it, Ji-hae could be in danger. Band-aid and friend do kind of dress like the Menendez brothers.

Good call! Did you catch what Jee-hae said to her father? "I think his brain is affected by the traffic accident" (paraphrase). Should we be worrying? He doesn't seem unusually off-balance, but maybe his emotions are in fact out of whack. (We can't tell because we don't know what he's supposed to have been like all his life.) I do know that it was extremely odd how he got up from that accident and they never spoke about it again or got him medical treatment. Hmmm. Doesn't he have the cutest crescent-moon eyes, though? So smiley.

I had forgotton about it. That would be an interesting spin on a head injury -- months later the victim throws silent hissy fits over his wife's ex, and compulsively kicks her out of their home. I just expected some swelling of the brain! Good ol' Kdrama medical storylines!

I completely forgot about the traffic accident! That's a long time for a plot line to lie dormant. Maybe they're reaching for something.
I don't know if he annoys anyone else, but Band-aid annoys me. Not in the evil way. In the immature, I-want-to-smack-that-smirk-off-your-face-biatch, way.

Band-aid is cute though! Actually, IMO he and stalker friend are probably the cutest ones on the show. If he were a different character we'd all probably be drooling for him.
Can't easily forget that body of Jaemin's though...mmm-swimming pool scene.

Jae-hae must sever all ties with her former friend if her marriage is to last. By accepting a ride from him, or his friend, it only makes her husband more suspicious. Jae-hae's friends are unemployed with a lot of time on their hands. They are very, so to speak, "cocky" in their approach to her. Jae-hae must realize that her husband, Jaemin is working, is ambitious to own a store. Her former friends are unemployed and can offer her nothing. Jae-hae might find a lot of fun being with her former friend Bang-dae, but he has nothing to offer her. Unfortunately, Jae-hae's father, unemployed Min-Sup, enjoys the companionship of unemployed Bang-dae whose ulterior motives are to see Jae-hae divorced from her husband.

I think Sandy brought up Ji-hae's miscarriage somewhere above here; that's something we might take into consideration when looking at her behavior (Ji-hae's - not Sandy's!). It's not unheard of for women who've miscarried, especially if they feel guilty about it (which Ji-hae may, because she really did not take care of herself, being unaware of the pregnancy), to act oddly for awhile. I'm not saying women who miscarry ARE guilty of something (and certainly, Ji-hae is not). I'm talking about human nature, how we take guilt onto ourselves. From what I've seen, Koreans treat having children very, very seriously, and to lose one before birth is a great tragedy, no matter what the cause. (And no, I'm *not* saying it's not considered a tragedy here or in other countries, but I'm sure you understand what I'm saying about the attitude in the dramas.) She may just be dealing with grief in a way that her husband cannot understand.
