Thumbs up or thumbs down? I'm still pondering, I guess I want to see what her character is like. But still something that I didn't like from the very beginning is that she seems to be "amused" with the way HK treats her. He was polite-ish but on the borderline of being kind of rude. What kind of message is that sending? Like the guy who mistreats you?
Also, I didn't particularly like the outfit she had on yesterday with the boots, skirt, jean skirt w/weird color fur collar and then a black and white sporty-looking purse? Can't he take after his brother and get with a well dressed woman?

I don't really like her, but let's face it, at least she isn't kowtowing to the many and varied stereotypes that burden the other characters. She's annoying, but she's a breath of fresh air. Yup, she's pushy. I don't quite see that as being the case; she's probably a shock to his system. There he is, nursing himself back to emotional health, trying to mourn and recover as diligently as he can, and she jumps in, practically yelling, "Hi! I'm your new girlfriend!" I'd be rude, too!

Yes, she is a aggressive, something HK needs right now to get his mind of HR. Otherwise he would just sit around mooning for his lost love, she's a diverstion. As far as her fashion sense, the "70's" look is big now there so she seems right in style.
And just think, the "Evil One" planned this, so won't she be surprised when it all blows up in her face when HR hears about it, gets jealous and persues HK again because she thinks she's REALLY losing him for good. Right now things could swing either way with HR & HK, but with a new girlfriend added to the mix, she just may be out of the picture for good and this will motivate her to see HK is real the one. Without the new girl their relationship is still in limbo, but she pushes it, one way or another.

It could be worse. How about the "80's" look? Shoulder pads, denim mini skirts trimmed in lace with high heels and ankle socks. Hair moosed two feet in every direction .................LOL

I don't like her either. Even if HK and HR had never gotten together I still think she's just too pushy for HK. And yes, she does kind of resemble a beaver....I think its her big front teeth.

Hello, people--almost ALL women have large front teeth.
I just think the girl is boring. That pushy, you're-gonna-like-me personality is entirely too high school. And what's with the hair? I suppose she's supposed to be "kicky," but to me, she's just poorly groomed.
Something about her reminds me of the Korean-American girlfriend in Yellow Hankie--someone who exists merely to move the plot along and who does totally unrealistic, foolish things to "get" her man. Maybe she'll grow on us.
Bo
PS - I can't believe we're actually defending stoneface HR against an outsider. LOL!

Actually, she's starting to grow on me. I mean, she's pushy, but she likes HK and that's why. She's been told she needs to be aggressive to get his attention and get his mind off his broken engagement. Come on, wasn't it cute that she gave him that tube of healing cream with a tiny bow? It took guts for her to mention his wounded heart right out in the open.
Her front teeth are not big at all; in fact, they are small, like little mints. Maybe you're thinking they're big because she has a short upper lip. It's Hye-ran who's got the big teeth and overbite, remember? P.S. Bo, what do you mean almost all women have large front teeth? I never heard that before.

Bo, what do you mean almost all women have large front teeth? I never heard that before. It's a MEDICAL FACT. Actually, now that I think about it, that's something I have always THOUGHT is true but may not actually BE true. Because (I realize) I heard it in the movie Tootsie, LOL, lo these many years....Dustin Hoffman, as "Tootsie" (a drag character), wore cosmetic teeth because women's front teeth are supposedly larger than men's, in relation to the rest of their teeth. Don't suppose there are any dentist types here? Bo

That's funny; I always thought his costume as "Tootsie" was awful and pretty unrealistic, especially regarding his teeth and makeup job. (So much makeup! The heavy foundation I can see, but all that lipstick and eyeshadow. . . .). Maybe it was based on mistaken assumptions about female facial configuration?
