Something about her reminds me of the Korean-American girlfriend in Yellow Hankie--someone who exists merely to move the plot along and who does totally unrealistic, foolish things to "get" her man. Maybe she'll grow on us. Bo I was thinking the same thing last night! I kinda think it has something to do with the "stylish" way in which they both dress, as well as their "i can get any guy i want" attitude. Plus, Hyun-Ji (from YH) did have weird teeth too. ;D

YIKES ... can someone help me out here? My TV is in the shop for repairs so I've lost an entire week. I watch the Chicago KCBTV - channel 28.... so I don't know if we're all on the 'same page'
Last I saw was the HR and KK came to the sad conclusion that it would never work.... but Mean Aunti had plans to fix him up to forget about HR....
In as few words as you can spare, can you tell me what i've missed.... in reading some of the info here, it seems that he indeed meet someone else who nobody seems to like very much.
ok... that's it...thanks to whoever can enlighten me.

I can't figure out yet is this girl is a tease or a girl with a past. She has mentioned she's had other "Boyfriends" and that doesn't seem to bother anyone. Yet Granny is worried if she knows about HK engagement and it's cause for ending and worrying about how her family might look at this.

Kathleen, that's basically it. Granny and Myung-joo engineered a meeting via Yu-jin between HK and this new girl, who is a friend of YJ's. The girl has been very aggressive, putting her cellphone number into his phone for him and calling him up, etc. He's in a lot of pain over HR, but his attitude is, "maybe if I pretend and force myself to like her, eventually I really may like her. And then everyone will be happy. (But I still love Hye-ran.)"

I never liked her but she gained respect from me today. At least she was smart enough to blame EA for not telling her the whole truth.

I was looking for her and HK to get engaged, and then, just before the marriage, Hye-ran announces she is pregnant. Guess I'll have to come up with some other idle speculation. . .

Now why did no one mention her mole? (beauty spot a la Cindy Crawford, not the reality show or the animal ;D). My God, the minute I saw her, I was transfixed on it! I thought I was having an Austin Powers psychedelic moment! ;D And man, can this girl talk or can she TALK? It was Oppa-dis, Oppa-dat, all at the speed of lightning. The look on poor HK's face was priceless! Did she mention that they previously met as kids in summer camp. Er, would that happen to be *band* camp, by any chance. Last, but not least, kudos to EA for not giving her the full low-down on HK--every CEO knows you gotta call in your secret agents for a briefing session before you set them out on a field assignment. EA, may I see your Wharton School of Business diploma, please...
