One more month but we still don't have a specific day when the first episode airs.
It is really going to suck if we waited all this time and it doesn't get released on Kocowa, regardless of how it turns out.

The IMDB says it starts on Nov 4th . One of the characters Iβm really interested in seeing is General Yang Kyu . There is little about him in English . Google translate was my friend on this subject .

It probably doesnβt matter but the celadon incense burner shown in that recent trailer looks 12th century. Not 11th.

Is the Mongol influence of said armor the front part where they can undo like a jacket?

Is the Mongol influence of said armor the front part where they can undo like a jacket? No, it refers to this part below. That's somewhat true. Problematic part is that the red parts of the armor attached on the shoulders and bottom in this screenshot from LBW is Mongolian influenced and thus did not exist in Goryeo prior to Mongol invasion. The Goryeo-Khitan War took place 200 years before the Mongol invasion.

If you look at the soldiers with the yellow armors on left and right, those armors are entirely influenced by Mongolian armor. What they did with the armor on the middle is they cut out some parts from the fully Mongolian influenced armor and attached it on shoulders and bottom.

Loving how you guys can pick apart these details about things like armors, too smart! I'm glad to know this stuff.
The Kocowa thing is a good point, it didn't even occur to me yet to think about where we'll be able to watch it. I reached out to Kocowa with a message and asked them if they'll be carrying it. Will post their answer as soon as I get it, if I get one. If they don't have it then it certainly will be put up on DramaCool...but I'd much rather watch it through an official site if possible.
