Oh I agree. Hee Bin is not even in the same galaxy as Mishil. Seju would have eaten her for breakfast.
The kids - For heaven's sake, just ground them for a week and be done with it.
Episode 52 Spoiler . . . . . . . . . .
Can it really be that perhaps the terminally annoying over-the-top Idiot Family will actually finally do something to advance the plot? Will they be Mom Jang's downfall?

Spoiler episode 52 ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; ; Yes,I think they will be the catalyst for Hee Bin's downfall. There seems nothing more effective in Kdramas than the wrath of a betrayed baddie. the Idiot son is so stupid that he didnt even tell hid dad that officer Cha saved him. This might have accelerated their action to help Dong Yi's faction.

I would like to say that Queen Inwon is going to be played by Oh Yeon Seo. She was in Great King Sejong and Merchant Kim Mandeok. I haven't seen any of the two, though I'm more interested in Sejong.

Episode 53/54: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Dong Yi : You must promise not to leave Mother's side today. Yeomming: Cross my heart and hope to die. Two scenes later Yeomming is hanging out with 2 expendable palace maids and Mother's nowhere to be seen. A recipe for disaster for sure.

Spoiler ; ; ; ; ; ; ; LOL...my thoughts exactly.I just keep trying to remember that the kid's only 7 yrs old so he cant help doing this sort of thing!! I also think it's so funny that Hee Bin talks about being the light, not the shadow. In the meantime, she has been the driving force behind the murders of many innocents over several years. And she says Dong Yi is a bad person and below her.HUH?Hasnt she got it backwards?

Wow you guys are WAY ahead of me. I'm on ep. 2. lOL. I think it's great so far, if a little heart wrenching. She's still a little girl in "my" Dong-yi.

Spoiler . . . . . . . . Ah... I was wondering what the writers were planning to do for the last 6 episodes. Too bad if they are going to go into brother versus brother mode. I am expecting the slippery "I'm pure and righteous and honorable and only doing what's best for the country" minister to try use the power vacuum to make a cozier nest for himself.

Nevertheless, Dong Yi shows us that it will take more than a snobby queen and a slimy snake to take her down. She says stuff that shows defiance: SPOILERS* * * * * Dong Yi tells Inwon that she dares to remind Queen Inwon that in the palace there will be numerous amount of gossip & rumours that will exist, then Queen Inwon as the proprietor of Nae Myeong Bu doesn’t have the ability to verify or justify what is the truth or falsehood, shaking not only the Inner Court, but also the safety of the Royal Household & even the Dynasty will be wavered. SHe tells her to keep this in mind. You gotta love the look on Inwon's face after being told this. And then, when Dong Yi is about to go out the palace, the queen tries to stop her, but Dong Yi says the queen can't do anything because it was agreed that she has control over matters on her son's marriage. Then she turns her back on the queen and walks away, leaving the queen again, a aghast face. ;D ;D ;D ;D There are chances, however, that Inwon could change for the better. One, historically, Inwon treated Yeoning-gun likie her own son. Another is that Sukbin and Yeoning-gun saved her life when she was infected with smallpox. Who knows.

55/56 Spoiler . . . . . . . . . . I very much fear that Chun Soo is a goner. He trapped the slimeball governor, but we all know he will try to get back at him. And there was some possible foreshadowing as Chun Soo remarked that the prince was getting married before he was (reminding us of his unrequited love for Dong Yi).
What would a Korean drama be without good guys getting picked off as the show draws to a close? Yes, I imagine Chun Soo will die tragically in Dong Yi's arms.

Historically, Chun Soo lived to a ripe full age. Still do not understand the "slimeball'' what purpose he has on the show, he just appeared, was it to cause conflict with the new queen and Dong Yi? Any other person could of done so.

I didn't realize that Chun Soo was a real historical figure. Was he really her brother, or was it the same kind of adoptive relationship as in the show?

Chun-soo was based on a real historical figure? How do you know this?
Oh, and I don't see what problem you have with the snake being there. I think it's just fine
