That was in a regular thread...Please post spoilers there -- everyone else, try to put an episode # in the subject, so we can keep track of that. Thanks Who is this in reference to, c? ok...this is a spoiler. dae jo young is...is...paralyzed! WHAT? Expand on that please. Yes, I just saw Ep 55 and 56 and cried my eyes out. Right now, I am very upset with DJY. I can't wait for the day when he realises what a fool he has been. What are you referring to? Chulin and DJY?

DJY is severly wounded by Li Kaigu. Heuk Sudol carries away & hides him. He is attended to by Mimosa.
DJY thinks his blood brother Gulsabawu betrayed them. DJY changed a lot. I don't know if its all the series of battles, the betrayals they experienced recently, his near death experience, the loss of Chulin (who he thinks is pregant with Kaigu's child) .. but the man seems rather heartless. I'm kinda losing support for him.

I forgot to say that to the world, DJY is dead. So well has he been hidden. So I dunno why he doesn't think that Chulin and Bawu would not know any different. He's trying my patience!

Thanks for that info, So Sad. I hope GSBW didn't betray them because I don't see him as the kind to! Haego and Chulin? WHAT? Well, I guess we'll be finding out soon over here.

Re: Li Wen « Reply #1 on Today at 1:54pm » It seems that General Xue will be taking control of Ansi Fort very soon, so Wen will be losing that little bet (or whatever you want to call it) that he made with Xue...I would like to think that he will meet his end in the hands of our FeatherDuster.
I moved it because it's a spoiler (welcome news tho it is!).

i was more distraught than I knew so to make it clear! I was not shedding tears over the person DJY wounded and left to the peasants. that person deserves a thousand deaths worse than this.
I think I am founder of GWSB than of DJY as I have shed more tears for him than for anyone in the show!

But, take away and Ansi Fort and I bet Goguryeo completely breaks down! But then again, I kind of didn't want Xue to lose his head either.

Without Sa Bugu and Shin Sung, Bu Kiwon goes insane and it's really funny to watch him thinking Xue Rengui is DJY and begs him to spend his life. Xue Rengui, disgusted by Bu Kiwon's insanity, punches him in the face. Bu Kiwon finally realizes that it is Xue Rengui, not DJY. He is so happy he hugs Xue Rengui and starts crying. Yeon Namseng is now being tortured by Tang China as he is suspected as a spy working for DJY

Here are some truth about DJY in based of real historical events;
1. DYJ never met Xue or King Mumun of Silla 2. Lee Hae-go is not Koguryeo's decent, he was actually Khitan orgin general served under Tang. 3. Xue was not general of Tang, but rather chiftan of Khitan tribe that lived near Koguyeo-Tang border. And he helped Tang to gain Koguryeo and became Governor of Laiodong. 4. Other Khitan warlord (Lee Jing-chun) saw this as threat for his expansion and over throw Xue & Tang out of Laiodong peninsula. 5. There are some historical documents about DJY and Lee Jing-Chun's Khitan-Balhae alliance, which gave way to DJY to pro-claim whole northern region of ex-Kogurgyeo's land.
Liaodong area were always trouble region for both Chinese & Korean. This land was once occupied by many colonial powers of 18~19th century and native ppl like Juan-Juan mongols, Xianbei tribes (Hunnic origin - Silla's ancient ancestors once Xianbei), Khitan, Jurchen (Founder of Qing Dynasty of China - once called Yeo-jin, or Jin & Malgal or Sumo- Mo-Hai). Guess what; many surename like "Kim" or "Lee" can be found among Jurchen, Xianbei, Khitan ppl.
In fact, most royal marriages held between Jurchen, Khitan, Mongols and Koryo. They have common ancestor. If you put all this historical events together, guess what; proto-Korean eventually ruled China in the end.
