Does anybody watch the Korean Pastor on Sunday mornings at 8am? I've watched him a few times and I really like his sermons. Is his church here in Chicago or in South Korea?

I don't know. But he's the only Korean pastor that I've seen on channel 28. He has a huge congregation.

You're not talking about that Buddhist-monk-looking guy who is on sometimes before "My Lovely Family," are you? I don't know what he's doing, whether it's a religious program or an infomercial. Like the way they sometimes show those little snippets of home-shopping broadcasts/commercials that don't last a full half-hour.

I know who you are talking about Lucy. I've seen him too. Not sure if this is who you are referring to Alexa.

I don't know why I think this, but I have always thought this man was in Chicago. Maybe there was an address or something. Maybe someone else knows for sure.

I have never heard of giving a cat insulin. Is this for real, or am I missing a joke?

No, not a joke; lots of cats are diabetic and are helped by insulin, just like humans.
BTW, my cat has chronic renal failure and gets subcutaneous fluids daily and medications twice a day. Kitties can be helped by medical care for many of the same conditions humans get. Thyroid disturbances, cancer, heart problems, etc.

Alexa,
I could be mistaken, but I think the pastor is Paul Yonggi Cho, of the Yoido church in Seoul. Allegedly one of the largest Protestant churches in the world.

Alexa, I did a search for that church and found a web site in English. I hope this is the one and it provides more info for you. english.fgtv.com/Not to be too off topice here. Yes my cat has become diabetic with old age. Well she's not that old. She's 13. Anything to keep my little baby healthy as long as I can. Lucy, fulid under the skin every day. Wow that must be taxing. That has to take longer than just a little poke and push of the plunger I have. Glad to hear there are more animal lovers around. Not everyone would have the patience for a petT.

As I understand it, the Yoido church is actually THE largest protestant congregation in the world. BTW, my cat has chronic renal failure and gets subcutaneous fluids daily and medications twice a day. Kitties can be helped by medical care for many of the same conditions humans get. Thyroid disturbances, cancer, heart problems, etc. My parents cat also needed that for a number of months over the past year and a half. She hated it.

It's not so bad, chigirl; I'm happy to do it for my little girl. We just went from two sessions a day down to one, so life is much easier for both of us. It takes about four minutes to get 75 ml into her. She doesn't like it, but therapy like that has bought her an extra year and a half so far of a pretty good life. I figure, it's a maximum of about 10 minutes total (including pilling) out of 24 hours; not a bad tradeoff. You must have to do blood-sugar tests in addition to the insulin, right? Do you do it on the ear?
Sorry we're so far off-topic, guys.
