I've been excited about it for months now. The probem is, I don't know of any places to rent this movie in my area. Therefore, I have to buy it in order to view it.

Either way I want to see this movie, MUSA. I'll have to flip a coin.

I'll have to flip a coin. Well Alexa, I haven't seen JangGeum but everyone raves about it so it must have been something special. If DJG is out on dvd doesn't it stand to reason that Wang Guhn would follow? I hope that this is the case. nowatimsayin? Slang words being written. *shudder* Whoops, sorry Skinz. I'll try to be more thoughtful toward the grammatically sensitive members in future posts .

Whoops, sorry Skinz. I'll try to be more thoughtful toward the grammatically sensitive members in future posts . Its not that serious. I have no problem with slang. I use slang everday when talking to my friends. Just seeing the words written really show you how bad slang is. I mean for example, Yo, that Musa flick was banging. It had all type of blood spashing through the screen, naw mean. And that shorty Zhang Zi yi is crazy hot. I need one of those, you feel me. That guy with the arrow was on point with his. See what I'm saying. What the heck is a naw? on point with his? slang should just be spoken instead of written down. And don't worry, I'm not sterotyping anyone at all because I talk like that also with friends. The real problem is that people don't know when to shut it out of their system when their in a different surrounding.

That guy with the arrow was on point with his. I understood everything, hmmm, is that a good thing or a bad thing? Anyways people talk and write differently. There are times when things could be written down in plain ole' english and I still don't understand what is being said. I guess it depends who's reading it.

it is probably a very fine movie. i am going to view it again soon and try not to have any expectations. I just watched Sword In The Moon too, luvarchfiend. I felt like more character development and more drama came toward the end. And then I felt that the ending came up very slowly and intensely. I liked it. At first I felt it hard to follow, all those short little scenes edited together, plus I had trouble seeing who was fighting each other, like the camera only glimpsed at the combatants. Some scenes so quiet. Then it built up to that great ending. I liked it. Just my two cents.

i agree with your assessment eowyn. i had a feeling that my disappointment, although i did think the movie 'okay' was because i was hoping for another 'musa'.
i, too, had some trouble following things in parts of the movie, thought it was just me because of a couple of distractions while watching it.
so for you it was the camera shots that made the fighting hard to see? for me, the lighting, or lack thereof. at any rate, these scenes could have been done better don't you think?

Some of the fighting camera shots seemed so close-up to me, so at times I could not tell whose sword was coming at which person. The movie was also like a slow moving puzzle I thought, with the answers fitting in more and more at the end. I had to stop and truly think at one point as to who was on who's side! I agree with what you say luvarchfiend: I was preparing for a Musa as well. This one was different...but good as well.

again excellent points eowyn, especially about trying to figure out who was on whose side. another minor problem i had was i didn't know myself whose side *I* was on. i kinda like to have someone, some cause, to get emotionally involved with. i think, for me, musa will be the standard to which i will hold all others. but i am certainly glad that i saw this one too. i mean, after all, it was a warrior movie....and that can't be bad.
