I missed the chance to see it in a theater when it played last year in Hawaii...jerks for the film festival had two showings listed on the calendar but then cancelled the second one that I was planning to go to. I'm hoping to get the region 3 double DVD with the extra features, I think it's still available.

I'll check at home for the Region issue--I have the Hong Kong release of the film and sometimes they say that the dvd is Region 3 when in fact it is Region 0, ie all regions.
I have seen the movie for sale in Chicago area Best Buys and I bought my copy down in Chinatown. ...don't know if Chinatown still has copies, as the movie has been out for a while.
If you liked the idea of the slave/servant class in Damo, then you will find something of cultural interest in this movie. ...oh, and great action scenes too!

Blockbuster carries Musa: The Warrior. You just need to check with www.blockbuster.com and find which store carries this movie. Did anyone notice KDS of AOW in Musa?

I saw this movie for sale at a stand in the KOP mall. Here in southeastern PA, there is a small business that has stands in several of the area malls. They sell asian import movies (mostly Gong Fu flicks), but they do have a variety from several different countries. Those are the folks that I bought the "Hero" import from. I know I could have gotten it online, but they also had Musa - the Warrior and Bichunmoo, amongst others. It caught my attention because of the quality photography, and what I could tell to be superior cinematography.
It's been on my list for a while. Maybe Santa knows I'm excited about it. ;D

Did anyone notice KDS of AOW in Musa? how could you not? ;D it was one of the main reasons i got it to begin with. i had no idea that the movie would be as good as it was so i was very pleasantly surprised

Old topic, but I had to bring it up again since I just saw this movie. This movie is fantastic. Forget all the tough warriors in AOW, Yeosol is the NEW bada**. Some of the warriors in this movie would really put AOW warriors to shame.

"Musa-the Warrior" is the best warrior movie i have ever seen. it was positively wonderful. and skinz, i agree, yeosol is *THE* warrior now.
choko, thanks so much for the links. i have viewed them with great pleasure and now have many photos to use on my desktop.
i just recently bought "Sword in the Moon" and will be watching it over the weekend. i doubt it will compare to Musa but maybe i will be surprised.

i watched "Sword in the Moon" yesterday and i must say i was disappointed. it is okay, but nothing like "Musa" or even "Bichunmoo". one of my main problems with it is that a lot of the fight scenes were done at night. now the darkness was realistic to be sure, but it also prevented me from really seeing what was going on. maybe okay for a rental but not to buy unless you are doing a warrior collection, like me.
