No, that's not it but thank you. I didn't have that clip. It's actually better than the other clips I posted. Choko, are you watching this drama? If you are, what do you think of it? Also, could you please translate the title of the theme song ( ´àÀº »ç¶û ) ? I emailed KBC about this drama. In my email, I called the drama "The Legend of The Nine-tailed Fox". Just in case, I also included the Korean name for the drama as well as links to the official site & this topic so they could see that I'm not the only interested in it. Note: I changed the name for the thread because I like "The Legend of The Nine-tailed Fox" better. It's also shorter. '»ç¶û(Love)' in '´àÀº »ç¶û' means love comes to everyone or every creaturel has feeling of love. For humans, nine-tailed fox is just an evil/ a parasite that must be exterminated but their feeling of love is not different from human beings. IMHO, this drama is a quite poor work. Don't expect too much from this drama. "The owl thinks her own young fairest as we do"

Yes, I watched the first two episodes last week, and the 3rd episode this week. (didn't see the 4th yet) In fact, I was quite disappointed. I wanted to watch another Damo-like TV masterpiece but the first episode did not live up to my expectation. The action sequence was sometimes awkward, and the actors and actresses are unnatural in their acting and articulation. Actually, I was really sick of Korean drama's cliche like triangle love, forbidden love(due to social class or incest), love between rich and poor. So, when I saw the preview video of Gumiho, I got excited and wanted it to be another fresh wind since Damo and The Great Jang-geum, but well.... up to now, my hope has been dashed. I'm not the only Korean to get nervous about it. You may read an article blaming "Gumiho" for suspected plagiarism of movie "Underworld". I didn't watch the movie, but its theme--conflict between vampire clan and werewolf clan---and its poster look quite similar to "Gumiho" That's one of the reasons why the Korean popularity rating declined sharply just at the 2nd episode (from 19% to 14%). However, I still have a hope that it will be impoved more and more. I really want "Gumiho" to overcome its weakness and public criticism, and finally to be remembered as another TV masterpiece. Not too late. It's aired just 4 episodes. Hmm.. I haven't seen "Underworld" so I can't sompare the two. I did see a similarity to the TV series "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and how there was the love story between Buffy (slayer) and Angel (vampire) in the beginning. I watch a lot of anime though and there tend to be a lot of love stories like Gumiho so I never thought of it as plagiarism. I know there were some complaints (in the US at least) about similarities between "Damo" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon". I never paid much attention to that either though. I did notice the decline in ratings but I just thought it was because Gumiho has the same timeslot as MBC The Age of Heroes and SBS Jang Gil San. So far I like Gumiho. It's not your typical Korean drama love story. I mean there's still a love triangle but it's not the typical rich guy, poor guy and undecisive girl. I thought the acting and fighting was ok. I didn't really have a problem with it. Then again, maybe I'm just being nice because I like the idea behind the drama and I wish there were more like this.

Yes, I heard it has total 16 episodes, thus it will end on September 7th. And... today's news article about Gumiho's palgiarism. news.naver.com/news/read.php?mode=LSD&office_id=048&article_id=0000147200§ion_id=106&menu_id=106#memoIn addition to "Underworld", there is another suspected plagiarism. One of its background music is very similar to a song of Japanese TV animation "The Vision of Escaflowne". Some Korean viewers are pointing out the similarity, but the producers or KBS have never explained about it. Actually, the music made me nervous most of all. Yes, Damo was similar to "Crouching Tiger..." or "CSI" series in some parts. I thought of it when Damo is first aired in Korea last year. But Damo became more and more totally different story and, finally, I thought it is much better than both of them. Damo has a unique spirit or philosophy. However, does Gumiho have that? I really hope Gumiho improve itself.

I didn't really have a problem with it. Then again, maybe I'm just being nice because I like the idea behind the drama and I wish there were more like this. Here is a brief synopsis of Underworld from Sony: In the Underworld, Vampires are a secret clan of modern aristocratic sophisticates whose mortal enemies are the Lycans (werewolves), a shrewd gang of street thugs who prowl the city's underbelly. No one knows the origin of their bitter blood feud, but the balance of power between them turns even bloodier when a beautiful young Vampire warrior and a newly-turned Lycan with a mysterious past fall in love. Kate Beckinsale and Scott Speedman star in this modern-day, action-packed tale of ruthless intrigue and forbidden passion all set against the dazzling backdrop of a timeless, Gothic metropolis. These "forbidden" love stories have been aorund since Romeo and Juliette. Possibly the "gothic" look of this series is what is adding to the Plagarism tag and comparing this to Underworld. Which, I liked. The extended DVD is out now too. I would still like to take a look at this series and see what it has to offer.

I would still like to take a look at this series and see what it has to offer. Me too. I know somebody else wrote that they were disappointed with the series. But I would still like to see it for myself. I love action packed movies, and this one looks like it has alot of action and fighting scenes. Hopefully it will air in Chicago.

If people are still interested in seeing this drama with English subtitles. i direct u to visit: www.kdrama.comthey're a fan-subtitling group~ that subtitles korean dramas in english. one of the dramas they are currrently subtitling is Nine-tailed Fox. Their episodes are high quality, usually about 350MB each episode, and u can download them from their site. So far they have released up to episode 3 of Nine-tailed Fox with english subtitles.

K-Drama does good subtitling. However, they take a while to release each episode because it's mostly one person doing all the work. Also, the file sizes of the episodes are big so only those with fast connections can download them and you have to use BT or IRC.

This drama ended this week in Korea. I watched the final episode Wednesday night. The ending was predictable but fitting for this kind of drama. I recommend it to all those that are interested in watching it.
