Okay, I think we're going to have to write letters to the Channel 28 station, requesting them to PLEASE air this show here in Chicago!!!!

Hehe .. sounds like a plan. I'm not sure if there is a free timeslot for it but I'll gladly contact them regarding this drama.
There's another preview for this drama that I like but I can never find the link for it. I found it once but never found it again. There's also another version of the first music video I posted which was played at the end of the first 2 episodes. However, there's no link for it.
This is actually the first drama, not being aired by KBC, that I'm watching because of the storyline rather than the cast. There are so many dramas given in Korea that it's hard knowing what to watch. Therefore, I just stick to the ones that feature my favorite actors. I've been fortunate that in the past couple of years some of my favorite actors have worked together. Now, don't get me wrong, I think Jo Hyun Jae & Kim Tae Hee are good actors. They're just not part of my fav. group of actors. Although I have to admit that Kim Tae Hee is quickly working her way up there.

Allright, we must all start writing letters. The show looks really good and so far there is nothing on tv that grabs my attention. Or else we can stand in front of the station with signs, requesting them to air the show, haha!!

Another Music Video (focuses on Jo Hyun Jae & Kim Tae Hee) myhome.hanafos.com/~mine73/love100.wmvTheme Song home.freechal.com/~cjh4691/gumiho.MP3The theme song is by Seo Jin Young. I'm not sure how to translate the title of the song though. The soundtrack for this drama will soon be available in the US. Annyoung.com translated the title for this drama as "The Legend of Fox with Nine Tales". I think a better title would probably be "The legend of the nine-tailed fox".

Yep that would sound better. I couldnt' open the music video, it told me I didn't have permission. I really like the theme song. I am going to have to get the soundtrack as soon as it comes out.

Hmm... I used Net Transport to download the video. You might want to try using that. www.xi-soft.comI could also try sending you the video if you use MSN or IRC.

but i think it would be better as an anime. NO WAY! I think it looks better (from the video) as a live action than an anime. I so want to see this now! Apparently the letter writing does a lot; maybe if we wrote to the station and asked them to carry it subtitled they would?

No, that's not it but thank you. I didn't have that clip. It's actually better than the other clips I posted. Choko, are you watching this drama? If you are, what do you think of it? Also, could you please translate the title of the theme song ( ´àÀº »ç¶û ) ? I emailed KBC about this drama. In my email, I called the drama "The Legend of The Nine-tailed Fox". Just in case, I also included the Korean name for the drama as well as links to the official site & this topic so they could see that I'm not the only interested in it. Note: I changed the name for the thread because I like "The Legend of The Nine-tailed Fox" better. It's also shorter.

Some other familiar faces: Kyon Hae-hyo (Ji-won in 'To Be With You') and Kim Han-chul (Park Sul-he in 'Emperor Wang Guhn') If subtitled, this show sounds like it has the potential to win many new converts to K-dramas.

Choko, are you watching this drama? If you are, what do you think of it? Also, could you please translate the title of the theme song ( ´àÀº »ç¶û ) ? Yes, I watched the first two episodes last week, and the 3rd episode this week. (didn't see the 4th yet) In fact, I was quite disappointed. I wanted to watch another Damo-like TV masterpiece but the first episode did not live up to my expectation. The action sequence was sometimes awkward, and the actors and actresses are unnatural in their acting and articulation. Actually, I was really sick of Korean drama's cliche like triangle love, forbidden love(due to social class or incest), love between (one or two) rich guy and poor girl, evil rich girl vs. good poor girl etc. So, when I saw the preview video of Gumiho, I got excited and wanted it to be another fresh wind since Damo and The Great Jang-geum, but well.... up to now, my hope has been dashed. I'm not the only Korean to get nervous about it. You may read an article blaming "Gumiho" for suspected plagiarism of movie "Underworld". I didn't watch the movie, but its theme--conflict between vampire clan and werewolf clan---and its poster look quite similar to "Gumiho" Underworld Gumiho That's one of the reasons why the Korean popularity rating declined sharply just at the 2nd episode (from 19% to 14%). However, I still have a hope that it will be impoved more and more. I really want "Gumiho" to overcome its weakness and public criticism, and finally to be remembered as another TV masterpiece. Not too late. It's aired just 4 episodes. p.s. ´àÀº »ç¶û means... "Love which is alike" or "Similar love"... it is quite difficult to translate.
