Hey, speaking of pork--does anyone remember seeing any of the dishes contained pork? Wild boar? I can't remember, and for some reason, it's bothering me. Because they seemed to consume everything. Bo They had 2 consume everything! Meat and food resources were limited and expensive: this was before refrigerators and Costco!

WOW! Catalpa, you are the best! I thought I liked Sir Min, but the actor who plays him is even more gorgeous in modern dress. I love him in the black tee shirt with his hair all spiky. It seems like a lot of young Korean men wear their hair that way, and I really like it. Now, I'm going to make my request for pictures and news of actors. First of all, Choi Sul-jong, who I know Jacques also likes: I loved him in "On the Green Prairie," and I know he is happily married to a very cute actress, Ha Hee Ra (I think that's her name). Also, what about Min-jae from "One Million Roses"? I think he is just adorable. Lucy Lucy Sophie and Choko: kindly hook Lucy up with webpics of Choi Sul-jong and whatsisname who plays Kang Min-jae on Baekmansongi Jangmi/One Million Roses.

c, I don't know about Ji Jin-hee specifically, but when I was in college I had two Korean female friends, and both of them had "Hee" as their second name. (Myung-hee and Jae-hee.) I asked them about it, and they said it meant "girl." So, hmm, Sir Min is half-woman? I suppose not. (Bo, don't kill me; I'm only kidding. He's ALL MAN, of course.) Maybe my friends were saying something different, but I don't think so; their English was very good, and they must have meant what they said.

In Age of Warriors, Mubys youngest son was named Hee, and I'm sure Hee wasn't a Shee!

No, my Jae-hee was very stable (almost to a fault). Interestingly, she had only come to this country in junior high or high school, and her English was perfect by college. She graduated college cum laude or maybe even magna cum laude in English, btw. None of that has anything to do with anything, but I could stretch the point and say my Jae-hee obviously didn't have time for intrigue and backstabbing!
