Yeah it looks like you're out of luck ebadu, unless you go to cable.
You can get some shows on DramaFever.com; have you ever tried that site? No charge for watching if you sit through some commercials.

Thank you for the response ajk... bummer I really enjoy watching KBS on 24-7, but looks like they've switched programming to 24hr news, and it's not even subbed... I'll have to get my korean shows fix somewhere else I guess :-( Hey ebadu, it's not like you're left with absolutely no option (like back in 2009 when we experienced the Arirang invasion of the body snatchers on KBC), there's plenty of good stuff over on 24.5 which shows MBC programming. Actually, that's mostly what I have been watching, so the loss of KBS World on 24.7 is not too world shattering. Would have liked to watch the Yi Sun Shin corrections, but I couldn't stay up that late and I can't receive WOCK in my area (NW Burbs). Why programmers feel that it's more economical to pay less for inferior programming (24hr news, or Arirang, which I believe was free of charge) is beyond my comprehension. It's my understanding that the lack of viewership is what ultimately lead to the sale of the station, but I have no concrete proof of this; it just stands to reason that no intelligent merchant would squander good money advertising on a station that nobody watches...... no advertising, no revenue. I guess 24.5,6 bring in enough money that spending for similar programming on a second station seemed not to be cost effective to them. Face it, this programming is going to a very specialized market, and most of the Korean folks I know get their programming on cable/satellite and are accessing the real stuff direct from the source, not the subtitled, time delayed programming we're watching. And if this is any similarity to the annoyance I experience watching American shows with closed captioning, I don't blame them for choosing the quality video feed. So, I'm thankful that I still have WIN-TV and with their major dramas airing at 10:30PM, there's absolutely no conflicts with shows/news on the American stations. Oh well, it could have been worse. Back to suffering from Return of Superman/2Days1Night withdrawals........KBS has been on strike since September Can't find any new episodes..... Does anyone know if they are still on strike and when it might be resolved? Tried "googling" KBS on strike and can only find news from when the strike first happened...... Other than "God Of War", does anyone have any drama suggestions to fill the void? thanks!!

Hey bird, good to hear from you. Sorry about the withdrawal; I understand that feeling completely. If you want to watch a different historical you could try Shin Don; that's on DramaFever too and I liked it a lot. But maybe another historical isn't your cup of tea right now. You might find some DVDs of various shows on eBay if you check. I did notice this online, saying that they're splicing together new episodes of each of your shows, but it's already-recorded content and I don't know how much longer they can keep that up. www.allkpop.com/article/2017/09/1-night-2-days-and-superman-is-back-to-return-to-airHang in there.

HAPPY DAY!!! Found a new episode of "Return of Superman" on KBS's YouTube channel..... Some comments say the episode was delayed because of the Chuseok Holiday--- hopefully that means the strike is over and the schedule will get back to normal --see you later, gotta get back to watching!
