You were right! I really really like this series! The female lead is great-- every time she grabs a hold of Jong Won, it just cracks me up. Once again, this is a drama where I think facial expressions make all the difference-- her face is a constant change of happy, fear, strange, ect. and Jong Won just has that blank look that says it all. I could agree and say that So Ji Sub is now my favorite actor after watching this and Ghost, but Jo In Sung might find out and then I would be in trouble! I just fnished the part with the dead boy is looking for the girl he liked to show her the green roses-- good story there. Now the security detail is running around the mall looking for the loose dog-- I couldn't remember if they showed it, but the bite marks on the Uncle's hand look more human than dog! Did he bite himself because he was so scared? A lot going in this drama, so sorry I didnt start this earlier! Jong Won's aunt and uncle look familar from other dramas, too

Jo In Sung and So Ji Sub worked together in the 2004 SBS drama What Happened in Bali. It's one of the most depressing things you'll ever watch. So Ji Sub is known for playing characters that die. As a viewer, you're pleasantly surprised if he's still alive at the end of a series. Lee Jong Won (Joong Won's uncle) has been in quite a few series but you might remember him as Ji Soo's love interest, Suk Joon, in My Man's Woman. Kim Mi Kyung (Joong Won's aunt) has been in tons of dramas. Just in 2013, she's appeared in 7 series.

I have been meaning to watch What Happened in Bali for awhile, but if it is "the most depressing thing I'll ever watch" I may have to pass--on the other hand your comment has made me curious!! I have to say the past episode in this drama with the abused kid that was rescued was pretty depressing...it is a good thing the mom beating the kid with the umbrella did take any longer than it did,I was already cringing and turning my head away from the computer....at least the ghost kids were not scary as the other ghosts.

I don't want to type to many details just in case someone else decides to watch this, but the end of episode 12 was so shocking, I was crying my eyes out-- I was thinking this would not have a happy ending, but this turn of events was unexpected! Thankfully things have quieted down in ep 13 so I have hope again.... Here is one question I had to ask myself "Why is it so easy to beleive that Gong Sil can see ghosts, but I think that the lady who helped Gong Sil was just a big fake?"

This is one of the best dramas I have ever watched! Even though they did a "one year later" time jump, I think it was handled better than in other dramas.I liked the way the series wrapped up except for Joong Won's Aunt and Uncle. I think it would have been better to have Gong Sil see some dead parents (maybe they died in a car accident) and the parents would be concerned about their still living child and then Gong Sil could convince the Aunt & Uncle to adopt the child--which to me would have been more beleivable than the ending the writer's did choose. I am really becoming a fan of actor So Ji Sub-- I loved the way he used his hands to express himiself-- like ever time he told Gong Sil to go away, he would way his hand-- looking like a king dismissing his subject.

This is one of the best dramas I have ever watched! This and Queen In Hyun's Man are probably my favorite romantic comedies. I liked the way the series wrapped up except for Joong Won's Aunt and Uncle. I think it would have been better to have Gong Sil see some dead parents (maybe they died in a car accident) and the parents would be concerned about their still living child and then Gong Sil could convince the Aunt & Uncle to adopt the child--which to me would have been more believable than the ending the writer's did choose. Yes, I think them adopting a child would have made more sense. I am really becoming a fan of actor So Ji Sub-- I loved the way he used his hands to express himiself-- like ever time he told Gong Sil to go away, he would way his hand-- looking like a king dismissing his subject. If you want to see another So Ji Sub drama I would recommend I'm Sorry, I Love You or Cain and Abel.

Since I really enjoyed this series, I would like to ask your opinion of which drama I should watch next... Sorry, I love you Cain and Abel What happened in Bali I am part way thru the first episode of "Bali" and it hasn't really grabbed my attention (yet), so I thought I would ask for your opinion......thanks! (loved the "hand waving" shot!)

Did you catch the Ghost reference (Phantom of the Opera ringtone) in the final episode of TMS? Since I really enjoyed this series, I would like to ask your opinion of which drama I should watch next... It depends on what you're looking for. None of those are romantic comedies. Most SJS dramas are melodramas. The "happiest" of the bunch would be Cain & Abel. His best performance to date I think was in I'm Sorry, I Love You. That's still my favorite SJS drama. If you're in the mood for something cold and downright depressing, go with WHIB.

thanks-- I guess I will go with I'm Sorry, I love you. As much as I would like to see something with So Ji Sub and Jo InSung in it, I am not really in the mood for something downright depressing--considering the tears I shed just watching this drama, WHIB might be more than I can handle! Thanks for the suggestions....this was such a good drama I value your opinion. I did not catch the ring tone--but I will have to go back and listen for it.

Well, it took me a while, but I finally finished watching "I'm Sorry, I love you". Knov, you were right again - this was a great drama. I was totally expecting a sad ending, but this ending was not what I was expecting. There was some posts in another thread about the differneces in current dramas and past dramas and this is one that would really show the differences, here you have main characters, but also parents, friends, siblings -- older and younger characters all in the same drama, all trying to get along.... not what you see in many current dramas and I think that is what really is lacking, I really like the differnt storylines and how they all interact with each other. Thanks again for the recommendation -- all the actors did a great job, from the oldest right down to the youngest.

I'm glad you liked it. It's a sad story but one of my favorite dramas. I'll be watching The Prime Minister and I in December. I posted some info about it in Upcoming K-Dramas. Not sure if that interests you. If not, I could try recommending something else.

I was prepared for it to be a sad story and I really did not shed a tear until the very end-- when it became even sadder than I ever thought it could be! I was planning on watching The Prime Minister and I especially if you are commenting on it-- always like to read other points of views. May look into Cain and Able, also

May look into Cain and Able, also Cain and Abel is a good series. SJS and Han Ji Min have good chemistry in it. If you can find it, I recommend the movie Always (international title)/ Only You (Korean title) with SJS and Han Hyo Joo.

I don't know if I should keep adding to this thread, but I thought I would let you know that I am up to episode 6 on Cain and Able and I really like it alot. Once again, good storyline, many characters to keep you interested.....although the mother is a real witch! I looked for the movie, but I think I could only find it on youtube-- as a 1 1/2 hr. movie. May just wait to see if it pops up on Dramafever.....
