Thank you bird! Very nice of you to think of us. I'll see if I can find the show. Some of those 2D1N episodes are on YouTube; will see if I can find it there too.

I just finished watchin part two of the 2 days 1 night National Treasure shows and took some notes this time.... Some of things they saw were...the Annals of the Joseon Dynasty- there were boxes and boxes of the annals, they are not in an area that the general public can see and even the employees can not see them, they actually opened one of the boxes to show the pages to the cameras. Soo cool. They also showed General Lee Soon Shin's Nanjoong Diary, another restricted item that they showed just for this show. Two other items I remember were the Shilla stone monument and the Seoul Wongaksa 10 story pagoda. The very last item they showed (I didn't write down the name) was a somewhat large vessel used for incense and they said they might not have ever found it if they hadn't requested another parking lot, so before they put in the parking lot I guess they looked thru the area for the lot and they found this item-- otherwise it would be buried and/or broken under the parking lot! Even if you don't care for the show, these two episodes just might be worth the watching.....

That does sound interesting, bird...thank you very much for taking those notes! The Jingbirok series is taking up my K-Drama time but as soon as it ends I will look for those two episodes on the KBS YouTube channel. Just seeing YSS's diary would be worth the time. Glad you enjoyed them.
Since this show is on KBS World and we have one dedicated KBS World board now, I'm going to move the thread there.

These were very cool episodes. Some of them went to YSS's hometown to a museum there, where they saw (replicas of) his swords as well as the (real) war diaries. Some of them went to Busan and wre let into the vault where they were shown one of the surviving books of the Annals of Cheosun, and they were told about how one of the original sets had been saved from being burnt by the Japanese by YSS. The surviving books are kept at several locations in Korea. One of the teams saw the huge incense burner from Baekje which was featured in the final episodse of Ballad of Seodong. They also saw some statues of Buddha and celadon pottery and crowns. This show has made numerous trips throughout Korea where we get to see and hear about historical treasures. For example, temples and bells and statues carved into mountains. It's worth watching for this, as well as because it's just plain fun. And the food always makes me hungry. Season 1 and 2 shows can be found with subs at Kengsub.com. All of season 3 and the latter episodes of Season 2 can be found at Dramafever.

For Uhm Tae Woong fans.... Okay, I had to look him up... and it's the 2nd lead guy from "Delightful Girl Choon Hyang"!! I suffered 2nd Lead Syndrome because of him. I had to stop watching this drama after a few episodes cuz I knew he was never gonna get the girl. I like him lots though I've never seen him in anything else since.

So glad to see the posts here! I just love this show mainly because I get to see so many beautiful scenes of Korea-- these last couple were especially interesting. Also, Jewel, I know I have seen Uhm Tae Woong in some dramas, the one that came to mind was called "Man from the Equator"-- I really liked this drama. Uhm Tae Woong is currently on the reality show "Return of Superman" with his little daughter-- he seems like a very down to earth man, very humble.

Ok...... I am reaching out again for help.... I can not find new epsidoes of 2d1n and Return of Superman anywhere!!!! Last I heard was that there was a strike at KBS (I think that was in Sept.)-- but can't find any recent news by googling.... If anyone can help me out, Thanks! I really, really miss these show alot. It was hard enough with the new website KOCOWA being pretty useless. But they don't have any new shows either! I have been watching them on KBS's Youtube channel, but they don't have any new episodes either.....

Hey bird, Happy New Year to you...hadn't heard from you in a while; hope all is well.
I did some looking around and it looks like that Viki.com site has recent episodes. I don't know if they have the official KBS World subs but they do apparently have recent episodes. Never used that site so I can't tell you if it's any good.

Hi all. There are now numerous places to watch 1 N 2 D. I've been watching on OnDemandKorea. For some reason DramaFever has temporarily stopped some shows. KBS World also has episodes on YouTube now, but lagging by a couple of weeks. But you are right. Because there has been a strike at KBS trying to get rid of the CEO, there have been no new 1 N 2 D episodes for a couple of months. They have been showing reruns, except for the tribute episode to Jun Hyuk (which I highly recommend). They have decided to partially end the strike, and today there is supposed to be a new episode (celebrating the 10th anniversary). I'm really looking forward to it. So glad others still watch and love this show.

Thanks guys! Knew I could count on you to come thru with some information for me Ajk--Happy New Year to you, too! I have been around checking on your posts for God Of War, just haven't had the guts to get back into watching it. I used to look forward to Friday nights and watching "Return of Superman" and watching 1n2d at work and the whole KBS strike/license/dropped off DramaFever/KOCOWA website/Jun Hyuk's passing has thrown me in a real tail spin. Even with Jun Hyuk not being on 1night 2days for awhile it is still painful for me to watch-- he was so much fun to watch on the show. I been trying to watch 1Night 2days on YouTube, but it so hard to figure out what episodes I have watched, what I haven't watch, I get so frustrated with the whole thing-- I think I am currently caught up on both, so I may just have to sit back and wait to see what happens. I heard somewhere that DramaFever dropped the shows due to licensing issues, which means that APP is no help when I want to watch something at work....I gave up on KOCOWA.) Mugwump-- thanks for the suggestion for ONDEMANDKOREA, the only problem is when I went to that site there were no English subs on the show.....Am I missing something? (AND don't even get me started with the thought of BigBang members starting their military enlistment next year..... )

For Ondemand Korea, it takes a couple of days til it gets subbed. So right now the latest episode is unsubbed. But it is much quicker than waiting for KBS World on YouTube. Thanks for the explanation for the problems with DramaFever. There is also a blog that I follow about Koyote (I'm a KJM fan) that always posts links to new subbed 1 N 2 D episodes: jongminkoyote.blogspot.com/

Thanks Mugwump-- I will keep that in mind. I did check to see if Ondemand has an APP I can download to watch on my phone, and it does--- Do you know if it works well? I downloaded the KOCOWA app on my phone and have all kinds of problems-- I don't have the greatest of cell phones, but I don't have trouble with the DramaFever APP and there are quite a few negative comments... hate to download Ondemand APP if I have the same isses.....this is one of the main reasons I have been watching on YouTube. Thanks again for all the help/suggestions....
