---------------------------------------------------------
Moo Chul runs into the thugs that tried to rob Young. He goes to the scene of the crime and realizes Con Soo was one step ahead of him. He begins to feel pain and clutches at his chest.
Soo and Young talk at a cafe. Young knows Soo needs money. She was happy to have her brother back in her life. She was fooled into believing he wasn’t after money. She wonders why he didn’t give her the pill. Perhaps his conscious wouldn’t let him. Maybe he was afraid of getting caught. Young begins to say “If it wasn’t that”, Soo interjects with “maybe I love you very much”. He says the pill was for him. He had no good reason to continue living. Even if he died no one would miss him. That was before meeting Young and spending time with her. Soo offers to leave and that’ll be the end of everything. Young isn’t pleased with his response and walks away.
Young struggles going down the stairs. Soo goes after her. Young tells Soo that things might be over for him once he leaves, but not for her. He suffers a migraine and faint. Jin Sung calls Soo. Soo tells him to bring the car. They take Young to the hospital.
So Ra meets with Secretary Wang. Secretary Wang asks if Con Soo is dangerous to Young because he owes money. She asks how he came to owe $7 million. So Ra answers that he took money from a sponsor. He has 3 days to pay it back. Secretary Wang wants to know more about the other Soo that died. So Ra claims she doesn’t know much except that he grew up in an orphanage. When Secretary Wang asks for the name of the orphanage, So Ra begins to say “Hope” but changes her answer to “Fruitful Orphanage”. Their meeting is cut short by Lawyer Jang. So Ra leaves. He asks Secretary Wang why she met with So Ra. She doesn’t feel like answering him.
Back to the hospital. Young has a tumor. The doctor wants to operate. Moo Chul’s sister, Sun Hee walks in. She doesn’t think it’s possible to perform surgery on Young. The other doctor is just giving them false hope. Sun Hee leaves. Soo goes after her. He attempts to convince her to do the surgery. She wants no part of whatever game he’s playing.
Back to the cafe. The shareholders think Secretary Wang is behind Myung Ho’s acquisition of Hyunsoo corporation. She claims not to know anything about it. Lawyer Jang says the shareholders want to make Director Jung the next CEO. He was loyal to Young’s father and it might interest of the company. Secretary Wang think they’re trying to drive her out. No one was more loyal to Young’s father than her. She gets up and calls Young.
Soo goes to Young’s hospital room. If he’s going to leave, he should do so. For those that can see, it’s easy to talk about leaving. Those that are blind like Young are left on their own. Young asks what the doctor said. The tumor relapsed. If she gets surgery she should be fine. That’s what they said when she was 6. It’s easy to everything will be fine. Soo comforts Young by holding her and getting into the hospital bed with her. They both begin to cry.
Jin Sung and Hee Sun see Soo and Young crying in bed together but leave them alone. Hee Sun remarks that she’s seen Soo crying that once before. It was when her sister Hee Joo died. Lawyer Jang drives a tearful Secretary Wang to the hospital. When they arrive,
Soo and Young are sleeping. They let them be. So Ra sends Soo a text. His time is up. He should get ready to leave. Young thinks Soo must be uncomfortable. He should sleep on the floor. He wants to sleep with Young.
Soo has 26 days left to pay back the $7 million he owes. Jin Sung wants him to get the money from Myung Ho. They can threaten him using the photos they took of him and Secretary Han. Soo doesn’t want to. He wants to focus his efforts on Secretary Wang. Jin Sung is concerned that others will find out about Soo’s feelings for Young. They should get the money and leave so Soo can live. Soo responds that he always finds a way to live. Even after being abandoned in the cold as a baby, betraying Jin Sung’s parents and Hee Joo’s death, he lives on. He still has Jin Sung and Hee Sun. Soo leaves. Jin Sung sends Myung Ho a message asking for $7 million. He attaches the photos they took of him and Secretary Han.
Soo meets with Lawyer Jang, Secretary Wang and Myung Ho. Secretary Wang wants to move Young to another hospital. Soo doesn’t want to. Secretary Wang is just an employee. Myung Ho isn’t married to Young yet. That doesn’t give them authority over him. Secretary Wang doesn’t believe Soo is Young’s real brother. He’s just playing along for Young’s sake. Soo says he’s doing the same. Since they’re investigating each other, they should meet once again when they each have something on the other. Secretary Wang isn’t happy that Myung Ho is messing with the company. The engagement is off. Myung Ho tells Secretary Wang that he’s being blackmailed.
Lawyer Jang follows Soo out. Soo shows Lawyer Jang the photos of Myung Ho and Secretary Han. Soo says Young didn’t go blind because of a brain tumor. Secretary Wang neglected to treat Young’s eyes. Lawyer Jang wants proof before he’s ready to believe him. Lawyer Jang calls someone to ask for an update on the fingerprints he sent.
Back to the hospital. Young speaks with the doctor. She wants reassurance that she’ll be fine if she gets treatment. The doctor can’t give her any. Soo heads back to the hospital. He spots Young leaving with Secretary Wang in a car. He chases after the car to no avail. Secretary Wang lied to Young. She said they were going home. They’re going to Young’s regular doctor. Young asks the driver to stop the car. When he won’t, she opens the door. A struggle ensues inside the car. The driver pulls over and Young gets out. Secretary Wang goes after her, slaps Young and screams at her.
Soo grabs Mi Ra and tells her to get in his car. He wants to find the doctor that Young saw when she was in school. He claims to know about it by reading Young’s diary.
Secretary Wang takes Young home. She asks all the maids to leave. Secretary Wang wants to get surgery. Young refuses to do so. She wants to die. Secretary Wang slaps Young yet again. It’s the first time she’s hit Young (not really). Young’s hit her many times before. Secretary Wang wonders if Young is trying to get revenge on her by dying. Secretary Wang made Young who she is today. She taught her to use a computer and read Braille. If she was really after money and the company, she had plenty of opportunity to get rid of Young. Young says she knows. There was a time when she doubted Secretary Wang but not anymore. She wants to get married before Soo leaves. Secretary Wang answers that she can marry Myung Ho and get surgery as well. She’ll force Young to get treatment if she has to.
Mi Ra doesn’t remember much about the doctor except that his name is “Kwak”. Soo asks the hospital receptionist about Dr. Kwak. She says he left to start his own practice 10 years ago. Soo leaves the hospital and meets with So Ra. Secretary Wang knows Soo approached Young for money. She doesn’t know he’s not Pro Soo yet. If Con Soo hadn’t met with So Ra, she was going to tell Secretary Wang everything. Soo tells her to spill the beans. So Ra doesn’t really love him. She’s just being clingy. So Ra wonders if Soo really loves Young. She only loves him as her brother. If she knew the truth, it would be over for him. Soo plans on leaving once she finds out. Soo leaves. So Ra screams that she will tell Secretary Wang the truth. One of President Kim’s cronies watches them from his car.
Myung Ho assures Secretary Wang that it’s over between him and Secretary Han. He acquired Hyunsoo corp for the benefit of PL Group. Secretary Wang is willing to overlook his cheating past. He shouldn’t mess with the company. It means everything to Young. If he screws up again, things will go very badly for him. Young’s surgery will go first. The wedding will go second. Myung Ho reluctantly agrees. Secretary Wang wants Myung Ho to find every Fruitful Orphanage in Korea.
Soo arrives at the house. Myung Ho leaves. Both Secretary Wang and Soo agree that Young’s surgery should come before the wedding. Young wants to get married. Secretary Wang asks if Soo knows that Jin Sung tried to blackmail Myung Ho. Young and Secretary Wang already know about his past. They’ve chosen to overlook it. Soo won’t be getting any money from Myung Ho. Secretary Wang warns Soo that his act is over after Young’s surgery. Soo doesn’t care. If he’s going down, he’s taking Secretary Wang with him.
Soo goes to Young’s room. Soo wants to talk about the surgery. Young only wants to talk about the wedding. She doesn’t know if the marriage will last. If Myung Ho becomes the next PL Group chairman, that’s fine by her. She wants Soo to look forward to seeing her in a wedding dress. She wants to be happy during the time they have left together.
Jin Sung’s sister crashes her friend’s car. They need money to pay for the damages. Jin Sung wants to borrow money from President Kim. Hee Sun doesn’t think it’s a good idea. The friend tells Jin Sung not to worry. An oppa she knows paid for all the damages. That oppa turns out to be Moo Chul. Now Jin Sung is indebted to him too.
Soo drives Young to meet with Myung Ho’s parents. She wants the wedding to take place the week before he leaves. Young wants Soo to go on the honeymoon too (say what?). She wants a small family wedding but thinks the shareholders should be invited too. Soo will walk her down the aisle of course. Soo pulls over. Before they meet with Myung Ho’s family, he wants to have a little chat with Young.
Secretary Wang is searching for info on the other Soo. We get a flashback to her meeting with So Ra. So Ra asked for Secretary Wang’s help. She wants to leave with Soo without anyone knowing. The orphanage Secretary Wang goes to has no photo to go along with Soo’s profile. Someone came several months back to ask about Soo too. Secretary Wang remembers So Ra mentioning a “Hope Orphanage” and asks for info on all Korean orphanages with the name “Hope”. She begins to call each orphanage and asking if anyone named Oh Soo was ever there. Lawyer Jang meets with Joong Tae. He found an old photo of Pro Soo. The scar is on the left arm. Con Soo’s scar is on his right. That means Con Soo is a fake.
Soo and Young talk about the wedding. A wedding planner should handle all the details. Soo asks if Young knows Myung Ho is a cheater. Young responds that it’s in the past. Soo then says that Myung Ho embezzled company money too. Young doesn’t think that’s possible with Secretary Wang around. Soo mockingly responds that Young is perfect in every way except for lacking the will to live. Soo wnats to live. The pill was motivation to keep him going. Young responds that she’s been prepared to die since she was 6. When her time is up, she won’t beg for her life. Soo believes Young is lying. She wants to live. She’s just afraid to admit it. Soo calls Myung Ho to pick up Young from the cafe. Soo leaves.
Soo goes to see Moo Chul. He kneels down in front of him. He begs Moo Chul to let Sun Hee operate on Young. Moo Chul beats Soo to a pulp. Moo Chul walks away. Soo will keep coming back to beg Moo Chul to save Young.
Soo returns to the house. Secretary Wang is still calling different orphanages about Soo. She seems to finally have found the right place. Soo goes to his room. He ignores a call from Dong Il. Young walks into Soo’s room. She wants to talk about the meeting. He doesn’t feel like talking. She turns to walk out when he mentions getting hurt. She asks how he got hurt. Soo responds that she doesn’t care. She’s neglected her brain and eyes. She doesn’t want to see him. It’s all lies. Soo wants her to say she wants to live. Young says she does want to be able to see him. She’s scared to die. Soo makes her want to live.

Lots more slapping in this episode. So, are we supposed to believe that Secretary Wang has Young's best interest at heart now? Because I'm not buying it. She wants Young to treat her brain tumor. That tells me she doesn't want Young to die. But, she wants Young to still need her. I think ajk is right about Secretary Wang in the ep 9 thread.
It seems like Soo is giving Young a reason to want to live. As if Soo wasn't in trouble already, Joong Tae found a photo of Pro Soo. Now they really know he's a fake. Hope he had fun pretending to be Young's Oppa while it lasted.
