Channel 41 comes in over the air, but it isn't very clear. It is watchable, though. It's subtitled in Spanish and English. Here's a link to a page about The Land, with spoilers included among the character summaries. It covers a lot of history, from 21 written volumes, and 4 generations! I've only seen one episode so far and don't know who's who yet, except for the unhappy unpleasant guy with a moustache. The Land started at or about 8 pm Friday. www.arirang.co.kr/Tv2/Tv_PlusHomepage_Intro.asp?PROG_CODE=TVCR0658&MENU_CODE=101634The next drama (8:30pm Friday) is The King and I, a historical drama, with Ku Hye-sun from Pure in Heart and Boys over Flowers. (I wish I knew what episodes these two shows were.) An angry young woman killed the young queen using a voodoo doll (or whatever the Korean equivalent is). The doll was thrown onto a pathway on the palace grounds, and some ladies (maybe it was even the queen mother?) approached it, but no one cried out, and I didn't see anyone even pick up the doll! I guess the little ***** will get away with it. Perhaps someone even put her up to it? Go Joo Won from The Bizarre Bunch and The Land plays the King. I didn't recognize him, but he's on the page at the link. www.arirang.co.kr/Tv2/Tv_PlusHomepage_Intro.asp?PROG_CODE=TVCR0679&MENU_CODE=101700The Land is from 2004 and The King and I is from 2007. Even though the picture is not as wonderfully clear as digital tv usually is, it's wonderful to see Korean dramas again and hear some familiar phrases. :-D

ginnycat, you might try scanning to see if you can pick up digital channel 13.2. The same KBC programming as on Channel 41 comes through very clearly and crisply on 13.2.
